TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND IN PARTICULAR THE EDUCATION OF PEOPLE NOT IN FULL TIME GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT WHO ARE IN THEIR THIRD AGE (BEING THE PERIOD OF TIME AFTER THE FIRST AGE OF CHILDHOOD INDEPENDENCE AND THE SECOND AGE OF FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT AND/OR PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY) RESIDING IN ST.AUSTELL AND ITS SURROUNDING LOCALITY.

To advance the education of the public and in particular the education of older people no longer in gainful employment in Potters Bar and its surrounding locality.The provision of facilities for leisure time andrecreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the above persons in the interests of their social welfare.

Making of grants to advance education, training, employment and health.

As Humanitarian organization aims to remove poverty through enhancement of education in order to achieve this goal, we provide vocational training courses for unemployment youths in extremely poor families. As part of this program a group of youths has been trained in Sri Lanka. In addition we have completed A Flood Relief project in Sri Lanka.

U3A provides Public Benefit by facilitating continuing education and social welfare to older people no longer in full-time employment. This is achieved by forming small, interactive groups of people with common or related interests who meet in each others homes, by organising general, monthly meetings with expert presenters on a wide range of subjects and by running trips to places of interest.

We provide services for families, as we seek to build the local community our services include , sports, cultural activities, employment services, advice and support on Education, debt, parenting, employment and domestic violence. This work covers the needs of all family members.

Development and running of community projects in response to local community needs e.g. food poverty, unemployment, etc.? Supporting other community groups and organisations in serving our local community.

?Our Mission is to help those with different learning abilities to realise their full potential as individuals by providing craft, design, & general art training.We aspire to develop individual strengths and build on self-esteem and self confidence through the courses and practical work experience we offer.?

Our main aim to uplift the living standards of the community by providing better Education, Self employment for poor families and widows and Funding for serious medical emergency. We are planning to do more for re-settling our very people by providing clean water , sanitation and other urgent requirement. Meanwhile arrange gatherings and other activities to unite our people in UK.

Shrewsbury U3A has self organised interest groups for people not in full time gainful employment who are in their Third Age. This being the period of time after the second age of full time employment and/or parental responsibility.

We work with families to provide a variety of services with a response to need and solution focussed approach. This work includes tackling issues such as poverty, unemployment, parenting, anti-social behaviour, social isolation and ill health. We support all generations by providing drop ins, one to one support, accredited programmes, courses and through referrals to external agencies.

The Roding Valley U3A aims to advance the education of the local public (particularly older people no longer in full-time employment) and to provide leisure time and recreational activities for all members.

Youth Work support, family support work in schools.

The charity offers specialist design skills for teaching / manufacturing projects in prisons in England and Wales, also ex offenders and offenders on licence. Parallel objectives include poverty relief by provision of beneficiary employment commensurate with the Minimum Wage Act 1998, also the elimination of discrimination for those convicted or remanded by by courts in England and Wales.
