i) To advance the education of the public and in particular the education of older people no longer in full-time gainful employment in Ross-On-Wye and its surrounding locality.ii) The provision of facilities for leisure time and recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the above persons in the interests of their social welfare.

To advance in life and relieve the needs of young people in support of their educational development, jobe opportunities in the professions or self-employment. To provide support, information and education to young persons affected by juvenile athritis.

Pathfinders UK seeks to empower young people to achieve whilst building confidence and resilience. The organisation is built on four pillars of Fun, Friendship, Opportunity and Resilience. The young people follow the SAFES system of education to gain awards and qualifications, building into employability and creating brighter futures.

The WorKingOptions programme provides state school sixth formers with:-Motivation and information sessions-Website services containing comprehensive information and links to other sites as well as a Q+A facility for students-Annual Scholarships for talented students that include work experience and support through university-General Bursary support for university applications and selection

The Charitable purpose of the U3A is:To advance education and in particular the education of people not in full time gainful employment who are in their third age (being the period of time after the first age of childhood dependence and the second age of full time employment and/or parental responsibility) residing in Beccles and its surrounding locality.

Ware Men's Shed provides a place for people to meet and socialise while doing crafting activities, such as woodworking. It promotes mental health, particular for people that are marginalised in society, for example through the effects of old age, unemployment or ill health.

Birmingham Outreach Foundation charity helps with:-1. The prevention or relief from poverty in Birmingham and the surrounding area, through the provision of food and basic essential items to individuals in need.2. The promotion of social inclusion amongst vulnerable community members who are excluded from society because they are unemployed, homeless or who are struggling financially.

HOPE Community Allotment's main activity involves running four allotment plots where adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical or mental ill-health, isolation, long-term unemployment and associated issues engage in a wide range of gardening activities, help with the maintenance our plots and grow organic fruit and vegetables.

BROOKSIDE HALL IS A COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTRE, BUILDING A VOLUNTEER BASE & ENCOURAGING RESIDENTS TO DEVELOP RESOURCES & COMMUNITY COHESION.WE OFFER COURSES TO ENABLE THE MOST VULNERABLE TO INCREASE SELF-CONFIDENCE, EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS & LIFE SKILLS, INCREASING SOCIAL INTERACTION. WE WORK TOWARDS BUILDING LIFE CONFIDENCE & ADDING VALUE TO THE LOCAL RESIDENT'S LIVES.

Thurrock U3A is a stand alone group providing interests and activities for those (men and women) over 55 and not in full time employment.We encourage people to get together with the aim of learning new hobbies/skills and making friends. We believe that retirement shouldn't mean 'slippers and soaps'.People ofter join Thurrock U3A because they are lonely, once a member they are never alone again.

JEM is a community based organisation which provides a free rolling programme of employability and skills workshops aimed at equipping and preparing individuals, aged 19 years and over living in the Normanton and Arboretum districts of Derby, to enter or re-enter the labour market, voluntary work or further education. Our approach focuses on confidence building and raising self-esteem.
