IT WAS ORIGINALLY HOPED TO FIND "PIECE WORK" TO SUPPLEMENT THE INCOME OF PENSIONERS AND DISABLED BUT THIS NEVER HAPPENED. To provide a range of activities to encourage continuing use of mind and bodies in the Third Age to all who are "no longer in full time paid employment"and are willing to help themselves and others.

THE OBJECTIVES OF THE CHARITY ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PURSUE ANY PURPOSES THAT ARE CHARITABLE FROM TIME TO TIME. PARTICULARLY :- THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT;- THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY;- THE SUPPORT OF RECREATION AND SOCIAL WELLBEING; AND - ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT.

We empower disabled peoples' lives by educating communities on inclusivity and raising funds for mobility aids, therapy, and assistive technologies. We offer tailored activities, events, skills training, entrepreneurial hubs, scholarships, and internships. Our campaigns highlight challenges for disabled people while supporting independence, career-oriented growth with access to healthcare support.

PROVIDE RELIEF TO ASYLUM SEEKERS AND REFUGEES IN THE UK BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS AND SUPPORT SERVICES SO AS TO ADVANCE THEM IN LIFE AND ASSIST THEM WITH THE ADAPTION WITHIN A NEW COMMUNITY, WITH THE OBJECTS OF: - A)PRESERVING AND PROTECTING THEIR PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH B)ADVANCING THEIR EDUCATION AND TRAINING; AND C)RELIEVING THEM FROM FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AND UNEMPLOYMENT.

Training or advice is provided to the members of the community.Language skills, IT skills and Health/debt/money management advice.Employment information.Housing benefit support information.Help and support with translation and interpretation.Run family meeting on sharing experience.Help on completing benefit forms and help on mentoring young people in difficulties.

Liverpool U3A, a branch of the University of the Third Age, is a self-help co-operative learning charity for people no longer in full time employment, using the knowledge, experience and skills of its members to organise specialist educational, creative and leisure interest groups and monthly general meetings with guest speakers.

As well teamwork and self respect, our aim is to provide a sense of belonging and a sound foundation for future employment to provide practical applications for skills which are learned , to train cadets in all aspects of seamanship, we spend summer months sailing canoeing, camping , orienteering , which sets cadets up for Dof E, during winter we are more academic, with classes in communications,

Buntingford U3A's objective is to advance education by all means including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development; in particular the education of people not in full time gainful employment, who are in their Third Age. The activities include groups which focus on specific areas e.g. languages, engineering, ukulele etc. and also speakers presenting at monthly meetings.

A. To advance the education of the public in particular the education of people aged 50+ who are not in full time employment in the Newcastle Under Lyme & surrounding area. B. To improve the conditions of life for the over 50's in the above area in the interests of their social welfare by providing facilities for leisure & recreational activities.

The Trustees grant giving programme will fund charities which focus on educational achievement, employability potential and aspirations of disadvantaged children and young people.

The objects of the CIO are to relieve the needs of adults with a Learning Disability in Wiltshire; to promote inclusion for the public benefit, relieve unemployment and provide information and support to adults with a Learning Disability, their families and carers.

Our group provides for people who are no longer in full time employment. Members share knowledge and information about: camera use, camcorder, genealogy, travel, regional stories, architecture, bowls, ambling,walking keep fit, discussion, arts and crafts, scrabble,theatre, whist, and any new ventures which promote learning We also use our skills to support local projects.
