OLDEN COMMUNITY GARDEN IS A TWO-ACRE SITE IN ISLINGTON. THE GARDEN IS RUN ON ORGANIC PRINCIPLES, AND PROVIDES A BASE FOR GARDENING-RELATED AND GENERAL ACTIVITIES. THE GARDEN IS OPEN TO KEY-HOLDING MEMBERS, AND TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC ON VOLUNTEER WORK DAYS. THE GARDEN HAS LINKS WITH LOCAL SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO OPEN SPACE AND OPPORTUNITIES TO LEARN ABOUT GARDENING.

AOMUK raises funds by organising events and from donations by generous members and well-wishers. We provide regular food and basic household items for the destitute, travel cards to enable asylum seekers to study English at Lewisham College and give financial support to the work of the Lewisham Refugee Network, Action for Refugees in Lewisham and sometimes to people in particular need.
