We make grants to benefit young people (aged 11 to 20) who are in need of of financial assistance in their education. The beneficiaries must be those who may attend, are attending or have attended a School in the borough of Chesterfield (excluding Staveley). The awards are normally made via the School, College or other educational establishment involved.We also preserve artefacts and documents

Provision of grants to assist with and promote secondary & further education, within the Skipton area.

Our head office is Denman College in Oxfordshire. They run courses all the year for W.I. members. We allow, each year, ·200 in our budget for bursaries. These have enabled members over the years to participate and exchange ideas.

THE HOLT ENDOWED SCHOOL FOUNDATION GIVES GRANTS TO THE LOCAL ENDOWED SCHOOL AND CHILDREN OF THE VILLAGE GOING ON TO UNIVERSITY OR COLLEGE EDUCATION WHO FULFILL THE NECESSARY CRITERIA TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR A GRANT.

The College is established for the public benefit: the advancement of health, prevention & treatment of diseases and conditions of the foot and lower limbs; research, and education of the public in the art and science of podiatric health relating to prevention and treatment of diseases and conditions of the foot and lower limbs, relief of poverty.

Tafflab makes grants to enterprise students who wish to start up their own businesses in disadvantaged communities. Applicants currently attend and are recommended by partner colleges. Tafflab interview to confirm eligibility, work with the Enterprise Champions employed by the colleges and provide mentoring by RSA Fellows. Regular meetings between mentors, mentees and champions confirm progress

Distribution of small grants for students entering further education

The charity will pay the income of the trust fund, at its absolute discretion towards helping agricultural students from the old counties of Caernarfon and Merioneth (that is Gwynedd excluding Anglesey) to attend agricultural colleges and universities to further their training and education. Cash grants will be made to individuals who qualify under the above terms.

Give grants to elderly persons who need help, donations to further education and support activities for elderly persons

The Young ME Sufferers Trust is the longest established ME service for children, young people, families, professionals. In 2010 we received the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service: the MBE for volunteer groups. Advice Line, magazine and Tymes Trustcard for school or college; free publications at www.tymestrust.org. Executive Director, former headteacher Jane Colby, is renowned for her ME work.

To give awards to deserving students to commence studies in college

To advance the education of the pupils in the college by assisting in development & extending relationships between governors, parents, staff & other friends of the college; engaging in activities to support and advance education of pupils; providing or assisting in provision of facilities not normally available through the budget; providing additional equipment for benefit of all pupils

Applications for grants are considered quarterly. They are given for the advancement of education in Church of England Sunday and Youth Clubs, and to assist with the purchase of school uniforms, equipment, and related expenses for those attending high schools and colleges of further education. The area of benefit relates to the Borough of Ipswich.
