The OPPF exists to provide assistance, by way of gift or loan, to any former student or staff member of Penrhos College, who in the absolute discretion of the trustees shall be in necessitous circumstances.

The charity is required by its trust to further, for the benefit of the public, the study of law at King's College London. The charity currently makes grants in the form of scholarships and prizes to students reading law at undergraduate and graduate level.

FOR THE BENEFIT OF PERSONS WHO HAVE NOT ATTAINED THE AGE OF TWENTY-FIVE YEARS AND RESIDENT IN THE BENEFICIAL AREA:- (A) EXHIBITIONS TENABLE AT ANY SECONDARY SCHOOL OR AT ANY INSTITUTION FOR FURTHER EDUCATION; (B) FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TOWARDS EXPENSES OF BENEFICIARIES ON LEAVING SCHOOL OR ANY EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT;

We use the income from the land rent to help with the fuel costs for the senior citizens of Crimplesham, also we help to provide children with schooling and further education. We look to help disabled people to provide with facilities to assist with their disabilities.

Administers a fund set up in memory of the Old Boys of Brighton Hove & Sussex Grammar School who died during the First World War.

Fundraising for Teignmouth Community College

Provides annual awards to be awarded to one or more students at Thurston Community College in recognition of outstanding merit beyond the academic curriculum.

Supporting the vulnerable on the streets of Minehead during the hours of 10pm - 3am on a Saturday night/Sunday morning by provision of water to relieve dehydration, flipflops for safety of people with inappropriate footwear. In addition Street Pastors collect cans, bottles, sweep up broken glass for the safety of the communitySchool Pastors offer pastoral support to West Somerset College

Assistance with Further Education Costs for Nominated Old King's Scholars

To provide funds for young people moving into further education.

Regular meetings - organising activities, hearing reports, discussion of relevant topics.Fundraising - particularly 500 club and Art ExhibitionHelp organise and run parent information evening - provide refreshments.

Raising funds in England and Wales to support Woodridge College and Preparatory School fund bursaries to young people who would not usually be able to afford the fees. Raising funds to support the development and maintenance of the school for the benefit of the wider community.

AFAN (www.afan.uk.net) focuses on young people's spiritual and moral development through education, dialogue, experiential and arts-based learning. Currently AFAN focuses on the provision of (free) workshops for young people college, school, youthwork and faith community contexts. Over the past year, AFAN has increased its website/video resources, and delivered workshops and practical sessions.

To Advance the Education of persons in the arts, particularly digital media and performing arts. Working with local community groups, Colleges and individual artists to develop skills/training in community drama, video and television production as a pathway to further and higher education and apprenticeships. Support local film/video makers and local artists to develop and promote their work.
