For the benefit of the residents of the civil parish of Boxford, West Berkshire and its adjoining parishes, the charity researches and provides information about local heritage, including archaeological excavations, exhibitions, talks and guided walks; as well as free admission to heritage assets, artefacts, photographs and records. The involvement of local schools and colleges is welcome.

To preserve and protect the good mental health of young people at UK schools and colleges by:1. Maintaining a mental health and wellbeing framework and AcSEED accreditation criteria.2. Assessment of applications from schools and colleges for AcSEED accreditation.3. Sharing of information and best practice with respect to mental health and wellbeing support in schools.

The charity works with secondary schools and colleges to create programmes to support the academic and career development of youth.

The charity's annual income is restricted in the form of rent received for land owned. Applications for grants are invited annually from residents of Gunthorpe, North Lincs to assist with the cost of books and tools required for courses of Further Education.
