An award to students in the department of English or Scandinavian studies for English or scandinavian literature

The Adam Bell Foundation builds awareness of the symptoms of Type 1 Diabetes amongst young people in order to aid speedy diagnosis and prevent unnecessary deaths. We run an Awareness Saves Lives! Campaign - we present at schools throughout the UK and have a national poster campaign in universities and venue frequented by young people. We also support music development projects in the community.

Fund raise to provide bursaries to persons resident in Melbury Abbas & Cann for Further Education / university or training fees. Funds are raised at various social events. Constitution states preservation and protection natural environment, promoting industry in parish, provision of rec facilities for the community.

Promotion of entrepreneurial spirit amongst students and graduates, through development and support of student enterprise societies in University and College campuses. Providing support to members of enterprise societies to pursue entrepreneurial skills, information and networks. Advocating developments that will aid the growth of enterprise societies and student entrepreneurs in education.

Charity gives one off grants to young adults who live in the village of Kirkby Overblow who are starting university to help towards books or equipment needed for the course. It also gives grants to the local primary school to help children to go on educational trips.

The Foundation provides small grants towards the expenses incurred by further and higher education students who are resident in the parishes of East Malling, Ditton and Larkfield. It is expected that they will have contact with the one of the parish churches in the said parishes.We can also make small grants towards the teaching of Christianity in the primary schools of the same parishes.

BVDA IS A STUDENT RUN CHARITY AFFILIATED TO THE UNIVERSITY OF BRISTOL STUDENT'S UNION THAT SEEKS TO WORK TOGETHER IN PARTNERSHIP WITH NGOS, COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANISATION AND LOCAL VOLUNTEERS IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES. BVDA PROMOTES SUSTAINABILITY, BY WORKING SUCCESSIVE YEARS IN THE SAME AREA, ON PROJECTS TARGETING HEALTH, EDUCATION AND CAPACITY BUILDING INITIATIVES IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES.

Bridgnorth District Community First Responders operates in the area of Bridgnorth and its surrounding environs, to work in partnership with West Midlands Ambulance Service University NHS Foundation Trust by responding to emergency calls for medical assistance. The volunteer first responders aim to provide emergency life sustaining treatment in the area, prior to the arrival of an Ambulance.

This Trust has a small income which can be applied in promoting the education of young people who are resident in the Parish of North Tawton. Small grants can be made towards expenses of students going to University, undertaking courses in Further Education or taking Apprenticeships etc.

The Anne Fisher Charity gives modest grants (average -£30) to students who are studying at university to purchase books relevant to their course/degree. It also makes small donations to the needy and elderly who are over 75 years of age. All applicants must be residents of Thurlby or Northorpe, Lincolnshire.

The objects of The Reve Educational Foundation as stated in the governing document are to assist boys and girls resident in the Parish for the purposes of both elementary and higher education with the purchase of materials or related expenses necessary in the promotion of education
