Education Charities That specialise in Mentoring

Helping disadvantaged women in Zambia through education, mentoring, training and support in starting up in business.

The charity uses its funds to deliver mentor programmes into schools that are significantly lacking funding, are in underprivileged areas, where academic performance is very poor, where there are no real role-models in sport, business or other areas.

The advancement of education and the promotion of equality by providing mentoring and financial assistance to outstanding students from disadvantaged backgrounds to enable them to apply for and complete a degree course in Law at the University of Cambridge or other university.

The scheme proposes to encompass four main projects namely Relevant Me; Relevant Girls; Relevant Steps and Mentor Me. The scheme aims to equip young individuals with life skills and awareness on social and domestic themes in order to build bridges of communication among families and communities. Each project will allow the young individuals to benefit from a positive and safe environment.

As a charity we provide education, mentoring and employment support to young people in UK and in Bangladesh. In UK we ran a project called Carrier Aspiration Club, which run seminars to support underachieving youths in London to offer mentoring service. We also fund a project in Bangladesh called Educate a Child, which provides Education and Wellbeing support to the orphan and poor children.

GlamSci provides a wide range of services for learners, including hands-on STEM workshops and demonstration days, CV and careers advice, dedicated UCAS support and personal statement checking, mentoring, placement schemes and more.

NSAMR provides learning and research opportunities for medical students through conferences and events, taster days in medicine, a research database, audit groups, mentoring and outreach opportunities and a student journal.

Inspiring Youth Achievement aims to support young people through mentoring, career workshops and self development workshops. In 2017/2018, the organisation held a number of career workshops for young people to enable them to develop their knowledge and employability skills.

To relieve the needs of those unemployed and promote and preserve the good mental and physical health of those suffering from or who are at risk of developing any form of mental ill health, in particular but not exclusively by advice the provision of peer support stress management workshops, courses, mentoring, counselling, holistic self-help and nutritional advice.

Future Stages offers a programme of rehearsals and workshops culminating in fully-staged productions in professional venues throughout the UK. It also offers continuous mentoring, and opportunities to examine careers in related areas of production and technical work.

HOT RyBEANA has recently created a personal development programme (PDP). Areas we focus on include Business & Enterprise, Careers, Communication, English (L2), Financial Fundamentals, Food Tech, and Maths (L2). All sessions are currently delivered online and were designed to help young people who have been excluded from education, care levers and those with special educational needs, (SEN).

We represent non-traditional and under- represented families (both LGBT and non-). As of Dec19, P3 supported individuals across the UK and professionals in over 80 UK multinationals, government and regulatory agencies. We support throughout the life cycle: from options to creating a family, to discussions with employers on inclusive leave policies, return to work mentoring, and school engagement

For the public benefits to advance the education of children in developing work, in particular Northern Uganda, particularly but not exclusively, by the provision of mentoring, providing school shoes, school uniform, school books and tuition fees.Carefully selected volunteers on grounds to donate schools shoes, uniform, books and support students, through training and mentoring.

The charity directly addresses the benefits of group physical exercise, circuit training, low intensity, high intensity and relaxation techniques by qualified instructor, to help counter the impact and effects of drug or alcohol addiction, anxiety and low self esteem.Additionally we provide mentoring and access to certified counselling and therapy to develop self worth and aid relapse prevention

To empower and transform women's and children's lives in the UK and Africa. Children are given the tools to thrive in a safe, supportive environment through collaboration advocacy, delivering critical services and achieving their fullest potential. We provide: counselling, support in setting goals, family day trips and mentoring.

The main activities of the ministry is to teach, train and mentor people in the Christian faith through social media and live training sessions.
