St Oswald's PTFA raise funds through activities in school to which the pupils and their families can participate. Activities such as discos, sponsored events and pop up shops. In 2021 we also started applying for external grants to support internal fundraising activities. Monies generated pay or contribute towards the school's wish list of items which support the pupil education.

We hold a small number of fundraising events throughout the school year including a christmas bazaar and a summer fete. Events mainly take place in the village of EASTRY.

Our purpose is to enhance the children's education and support effective relationships between the school, it's families and the wider community.

These activities raise money to buy goods and services, for example, outdoor play equipment and new IT equipment, helping to improve the school experience of pupils and advancing their education, whilst improving home/school links and those with the local community.

Our PTA puts on a range of events and activities, including summer fetes, school discos, raffles, stop point at community Randonnee and bingo evenings. We use our funds to purchase a range of goods and services that help advance the education of pupils at our school including funding theatre productions, purchase new sports kits, buy Christmas presents, school bottles and reading schemes.
