Calcot Schools PTFA aims to enhance the educational experience of children in our local community by working with our school, our parent body and the wider community. Our purpose is to fund raise, build strong relationships amongst parents, teachers and friends in our local community and support the educational enhancement of our young people.

The Friends of Spaldwick School, as the PTA for Spaldwick Primary School, undertake fundraising activities to be able to support learning activities through the contribution of funds for additional resources to enhance both the indoor and outdoor educational experiences of the children at the school

Our PTFA supports our local primary school by funding resources, equipment, and experiences which are used to support and enrich the children's learning journey throughout their time at St. Mary's School. Our committee and network of parent and staff volunteers organise several events throughout the year to raise these funds for the school, including fayres, discos, trails and community appeals.

The purpose of King's Stanley PTFA is to raise money for the benefit of the children of King Stanley school. Various fund rasiing activities have been undertaken including but not restricted to: Summer Fayre, Chirstmas Fayre, Quiz Nights, School discos, Pampering evening, Scarecrow trail, Ice Cream Sales...Donations are given to the school normally for an agreed purpose.

WE UNDERTAKE FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES TO PROVIDE THE SCHOOL WITH THE FUNDS TO BUY EQUIPMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF PUPILS. THIS EQUIPMENT WOULD NOT NORMALLY BE AVAILABLE DUE TO THE LIMITATIONS OF THE SCHOOL BUDGET. WE ALSO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR SCHOOL TRIPS AND EDUCATIONAL VISITS. WE ALSO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO PUPILS AND STAFF AND VARIOUS SCHOOL EVENTS

THE OBJECT OF THE ASSOCIATION (THE OBJECTS) IS TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PUPILS IN THE SCHOOL IN PARTICULAR BY:DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE STAFF PARENTS AND OTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SCHOOL;ENGAGING IN ACTIVITIES OR PROVIDING FACILITIES OR EQUIPMENT WHICH SUPPORT THE SCHOOL AND ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS.

The PTFA raises funds which are spent on equipment and resources to enhance children's education experience and the school's facilities. It also provides closer links between home and school and it is an excellent way to bring staff, parents and friends together socially in support of the school. All parents and members of the school community are encouraged to get involved.
