The PTA raise funds to enable the pupils of our school to enjoy a full and varied learning environment. We enrich their schooling by paying for trips, buying extra equipment eg digital cameras, playground equipment and by organising fun events such as visiting entertainers.

THE OBJECT OF THE ASSOCIATION (THE OBJECTS) IS TO ADVANCE THEEDUCATION OF PUPILS IN THE SCHOOL IN PARTICULAR BY:2.1 DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE STAFF, PARENTS ANDOTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SCHOOL2.2 ENGAGING IN ACTIVITIES OR PROVIDING FACILITIES OR EQUIPMENT WHICHSUPPORT THE SCHOOL AND ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS.

To support and raise funds for the St Lukes C of E School.

We currently have two fundraising projects. Our short term aim is to upgrade and refit our school library. Our long term aim is to refurbish and update our soft play area.

To raise and provide funds to advance the education and enjoyment of pupils within the school. Fundraising events have included cake sales, discos, Christmas card making and Summer fair. Examples of how funds raised have been used within school include providing a new system for the school and supporting learning through educational trips.

The Purpose of the PTA is to raise funds to support Hodge Clough Primary school to fund additionalneeds the school and/or pupils have. Through organizing fun events for the students and their families we are building a community school spirit whilst raising much needed funds to support the school and to enhance the students educational experience whilst at Hodge Clough Primary School.
