Laughton J&I School PTA is a registered charity which is run by trustees for the benefit of the children and where possible the wider community. Funds are generated predominately through activities/events organised by the trustees and volunteers from the community e.g. seasonal fayres, raffles, discos etc. We also source funding via commerce e.g. Community grants/awards

We are a Primary School PTFA. Our goal is to enhance the facilities, equipment, and overall experience for all the children. We achieve this by organising events, seeking funding and donations from the local community and beyond.

The object of the charity is to advance the education of pupils in the school by working with staff, parents and the local community to put on a range of events and activities at the school and around the local area to help build the school community and raise funds for the purchase of equipment or to fund events within the school that might not otherwise have been funded.
