We are a PTFA and we fundraise events throughout the academic school year to enhance the learning opportunities for all pupils at Limes Farm Junior School.

To advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by:- developing effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school- engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of pupils

PARENT TEACHER FUND RAISING

The object of the 'Owls' is to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school and by engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

We provide events and activities to enhance the lives of the children who attend Hungerford Primary Academy as well as their families and the wider community. We run activities such as fairs, discos, sponsored events and shows

Friends of Thakeham School work together with parents, staff and pupils to hold various events in the school and community. We hold events as Christmas Fayre, run stalls at Thakeham village day, hold movie nights and discos. We then use funds raised to contribute to a range of goods and services to help advance the education of pupils at school. We have purchased playground equipment & laptops.

Raising extra funds to benefit the pupils at school

Various fundraising activities ranging from car boot sales, summer fayres, charity auction, sponsored walks, Christmas Fayre etc. Expenditure is the cost of reward trips for the children, theatre company visits and other activities that are not curriculum related.

We raise money for school equipment and activities by holding fund raising events such as discos, coffee mornings, summer fairs and celebration days.

We are a PTA for a primary school responsible for raising money through the organisation of events / activities.
