To advance the education of pupils in the school in developing relationships between the staff parents and others related to the school, and engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils

Through the running of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), we hope to develop relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school, and engage in activities, provide facilities and equipment which support the school.We promote the Welsh language for the pupils of Ysgol Gymraeg Y Fenni, and to promote education through the medium of the Welsh Language.

Fundraising and organising events for the school

We are the PTA for our primary school. We raise funds to provide things for school that are not otherwise funded.

We carry out a range of fundraising activities including sponsored walks, school discos/parties, stalls and raffles to raise funds within the school environment.

The PTFA fundraise to provide equipment/resources to benefit and enhance the childrens experience at St. Mary's Primary School. Fundraising events - Summer and Christmas Fairs, Bingo Evenings, Cake Sales etc.

The Friends of St Matthew's PTA was founded to focus on fundraising for the school. Aims include creating two libraries, providing new books and creating a vibrant, inviting and stimulating environment. Assisting with other resources required around school including IT and our outdoor play areas. We fundraised through various activities including fairs, competitions, lottery and sponsorships.
