Supporting the school and social activities for staff and parents

This charity is a school PTA raising funds to enhance the lives of around 60 children and their families/community in a rural area of Herefordshire.

We hold fundraising/social events to benefit the pupils and the school. All monies raised are used to enhance the childrens learning environment.

We raise funds to help develop additional skills within the school, buying resources such as computers. To do this, we organise events to bring parents, teachers, pupils and the community together. For example, we have held Fashion Shows, a Salsa Night, Movie Nights, Discos and Seasonal Fairs.

The Bridge School Parent & Friends Association provide funds to the school for equipment and activities. We raise funds through raffles, fun days, lotteries

The PTFA works with our school, pupils, staff, parents and the local community to raise the profile of ourschool and to raise funds to enable the pupils to experience a wider education than would be otherwisepossible. We liase with the headteacher and other staff to raise funds for specific projects as required,and put on other social events to bring the community together with the school.

The PTA raise funds to provide for, and benefit the school and the children. The PTA do this by organising events and activities eg family disco's, raffles, fun & fitness days and sponsored events. This has enabled the PTA to utilise the funds in many ways eg providing new whiteboards, refurbished toilet facilities, refurbished the playground and a new ICT suite.

We aim to support and enhance the social fabric of the school for children, parents, and teachers helping to provide a stimulating, enjoyable environment for the children. We encourage parental involvement, organise social occasions for children and parents, carry out fundraising ventures to help local charities and to support activities for the children in addition to those the school offers.

The charity's principal object is to advance the education of the pupils in Dolphinholme C.E. Primary School by providing funds and equipment to the school.

The object of Woodmansey Primary School PTFA is to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school. Also by engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

Raise funds to buy equipment for St Aidan's C of E Primary School, for both outdoor and indoor use.In this financial period these included travel contributions to class trips, visit from pantomime, Christmas gifts for all children, outdoor playground equipment and paying for the Y6 leaver's meal and hoodies.
