THE CHARITY OPERATES TO RAISE MONEY TO SUPPORT THE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES OFFERED TO PUPILS AT ST MABYN PRIMARY SCHOOL AND TO FORGE CLOSER LINKS BETWEEN THE SCHOOL, PARENTS AND THE WIDER LOCAL COMMUNITY.

Our PTFA runs regular events such as school discos, Christmas & Summer Fairs, duck race in the village and events such as a race night in order to raise funds to support the school. The charity is based at the Primary school but on some occasions local venues such as the community centre are used to hold events.

The object of the BSA is to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by:2.1 Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school;2.2 Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.Funds are raised through donations, events and non event fundraising.

The object of the fund is to advance the education of the pupils of the school by providing or assisting the provision of education, recreational and other charitable facilities in augmentation of such facilities financed by the Local Education Authority.

The PTA/Friends of Charles Darwin School provide a service to the school by engagement and fundraising to help further the education and enhance the learning of pupils attending Charles Darwin School.
