The aim of FOSS is to raise funds to help the school pay for items that they might not be able to afford otherwise and to do this by organising fun activities for the children and their families.

Our main aims are to provide support to the school, to help to improve conditions, facilities and the social environment for the children. Whilst the PTA's primary role is raising funds for the school, the children's social well being is also considered to be important. The PTA, therefore, also organises many fun events throughout the year just for the children's enjoyment.

The Friends of Whitby Heath (FOWH) is a committee made up of teachers and parent volunteers who have a shared interest and commitment to the children by supporting and raising funds for the school to provide and add to existing resources for the educational and well-being needs of all children at our school. We hold a varied mix of enjoyable events and initiatives.

We help raise funds for the school from various activities such as fayres, school discos, cake sales, random fundraisers such as non uniform day, breakfast with Father Christmas and pop up shops selling 2nd hand uniform etc. Funds raised go towards supporting summer trips to beach with ice cream & Christmas cinema/experiences, in addition supporting extracurricular resources.

We are a PTFA at a community school in folkestone, kent. We run fundraising events throughout the year to raise funds for the children and families of Castle Hill CP School.

Our Friends of TPS works with our school, parents, pupils and the local community to put on a range of events and activities to raise money.
