Education Charities That specialise in School fundraising

FEGS (The Friends of Enfield Grammar School), aka the school PTA, is a group of enthusiastic parents who aim to enhance the children's education by raising funds to support the school. All the money raised at our events go directly back into the school. FEGS has supported and granted many 'bids' for equipment from various school departments. We also supply every student with a Homework Planner.

Parent Teachers Association for East Brent First School. The P.T.A. exists to create a greater understanding of the work of the school, forge links between the school and home and raise vital funds to support and enhance the educational provision within the school.

Fundraising to support the school

We raise money to enrich the school experience of our students through helping to fund school trips, visiting shows, and external educational visitors to the school. We also use our raised funds to purchase equipment and materials for the school to support learning and improve the school environment. We usually hold fayres, raffles, discos and other events which also bring our community together.

However much we would all like to see more funding in education, there will always be shortfalls. FOWSA's fundraising events pay for those extras which benefit all the children in Wistow School. Many of our fundraising activities are social events and a good way of bringing the school and outside community together.

We hold events throughout the school year to raise funds for West Ashton Primary School to fund/help fund projects, equipment and activities for the children's enjoyment which is not normally covered by the school's budget.

Friends of Bannerman (the PTA) has been set up by parents to raise money for the school, support the school activities and make a difference for the children.
