1st Gotham Scout Group aims to provide young people from the age of 6 to 18, and beyond, the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities designed to motivate and challenge them, whist having fun with their friends and peers. The section leaders and trustees are volunteers passionate about the enrichment of young people.

The education and training of young people (aged 10 to 18) in a range of activities and life skills. Some associated with sailing/boating and the traditions of the Royal Navy. Others involving climbing and other outdoor activities; music; computing; cookery skills; etc....

The charity's activities will include weekly religious worship services, prayer meetings, Bible study groups, Kids Club for local children aged 5-11, Youth Groups for young people aged 11-16, :Ladies Craft, Men's Breakfast, A weekly Community Club for friendship and a lunch, A food supply cupboard which provides food for those in need, and Community Fun Days for the local community.

IT IS OPEN TO ALL LOCAL MALE AND FEMALE YOUNG PEOPLE; SUPPORTED BY ADULT ASSISTANCE FROM VOLUNTEER LEADERS AND HELPERS. THERE ARE A WIDE RANGE OF DIVERSE ACTIVITIES, BOTH FORMAL AND INFORMAL, FOR 6 TO 18 YEAR OLDS.

We educate disadvantaged children in Rwanda with a bias towards girls. The children are orphans or from mother-led families. Our programmes enable under-resourced children to complete their secondary school education. We organise workshops covering conflict resolution, mental health awareness, and employability skills. Our mentorship programme empowers our students along their chosen path.

To advance the education of children aged 5 to 18 by providing tuition in Kurdish and Arabic languages, including writing, reading, speaking, listening, art, culture, heritage, and religion. To support young people by offering activities that develop their skills and abilities, helping them participate in society.Our organization is more than just a school; we also function as a community center

The Friends organise social and fund raising events for parents and girls of Guildford High School.

We provide football coaching for able bodied, disabled and disadvantaged children aged 3.5 to 16, girls only, BAME girls only, disabled adults over 16 years and refugee/asylum seekers adults and children. We provide opportunities for young people and adults to obtain FA coaching qualifications.

Weekly acts of worship are held on Sunday mornings and a Bible study, prayer or fellowship meeting is held midweek. The church runs a Sunday school for anyone of primary school age or younger every Sunday, a youth group for those of secondary school age once a month, and a Mums and Toddlers group which meets in term time. Bromley Borough Foodbank uses its land and buildings thrice a week free.

The Sea Cadets Corps is a uniformed youth development organisation with a nautical theme that uses experiential adventure in an informal setting to enable young people, both male and female, from 10 to 18 years old to gain skills for life such as: communication, strategy, forethought, good listening skills, discipline and team work whilst having 'serious fun.'

WE PROMOTE THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, IN PARTICULAR, BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION BY PROVIDING ADVICE, TRAINING, COACHING AND MENTORING TO STUDENTS AND YOUNG PERSONS AGED 13 TO 18 YEARS.

Fundraising to buy items for the school children.

To promote education by the provision of equipment and other items, services and facilities for any secondary school in the former Borough of Chesterfield. Promoting education of persons over 11 years of age but who have not yet attained the age of 25 years.

We fit out and support community libraries in rural Kenya in consultation with local people, providing books, newspapers, IT, book development programmes and training in order to improve literacy and availability of information. We also give secondary school bursaries to able, needy students from the immediate locality, in return for a few hours work in the libraries, each week.

To advance, education of children, relief of financial hardship in life and relieve the needs of children and young people aged 0-16 years with mental, physical and sensory disabilities by way of supporting their parents/carers through the provision of advice, guidance, training and advocacy.

A balanced programme of adventurous, educational and craft activities, based around the physical, mental and spiritual development of young people from 6 to 18 years, the main aim being to help members grow up to be good citizens.

The Sea Cadet Corps is a nationwide voluntary uniformed youth organisation, open to all young people aged 12 to 18, Marine Cadets for young people aged 13 to 18 and with Junior Sections open to those of 10 to 12 years of age.The remit of the Sea Cadets is to provide fun, friendship, adventure and learning new skills based on waterborne and land based activities.

We provide girls from the age of 4 to 18 a safe girl only space to develop skills and self confidence to take them into the adult world. They are led by volunteer leaders who allow the girls as much self governance as is practicable for their age.

We promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials. We provide activities and training for young people throughout Saltney and neighbouring villages. SINCE 2005 THE TRUST HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN FUND-RAISING AND APPEAL ACTIVITITIES TO RAISE MONIES TO TO IMPROVE SCHOOL AMENITIES, RESOURCES AND TO IMPROVE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES.

Our efforts are entirely voluntary and provide opportunities to people disadvantaged by their personal circumstances, particularly children and young people in Kenya affected by poverty, malaria, AIDS and malnutrition.We give time, energy and our own money to several projects - scholarships for 300 children to attend secondary school, an educational farm, a cycling cub and mentoring.
