Sponsoring children from poor background acquire secondary /higher education which is not free Kenya. Atleast sh60,000 (£420) is needed to join high school which the parents cannot raise. These amounts help pay for fees, uniform and boarding facilities eg beddings & transport and thereafter continue paying the fees of about £120 per term for 4 years then college or universities.

Our PTFA supports William Perkin Church of England High School by raising funds for the school and supporting school events and initiatives.

Fund raising activities e.g. raffles and school events

We are a Parent Teacher Association and focus on fundraising for Colston's Girls' School. Teachers can apply for funds for items/activities which the school otherwise would not be able to afford. We then discuss the requests and approve/reject them. The main fundraising events we do throughout the year are one Raffle plus a big summer fair with second hand uniform sale. The purpose of scouting is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. We provide a structured training for young people from 6 to 16.

Advancement of Christian faith and worship of God by preaching and proclamation of Christian gospel to all. We provides relief for the needy, disables, sick and aged. Also, we run classes for ages 5-16 who are under achieving in the school curriculum. We organises trips for children & youth during summer holidays. We visit hospitals, prisons, elderly & disables for prayers, counselling, etc.

Counselling and support, sponsoror facilitate the provision of vocational training & coaching. facilitate participation of young orphans in primary/secondary school education, vocational training courses, progress onto further education and/or advance vocational training courses, or employment

Grants to children living in the parish of Cliburn attending secondary school and further education establishments up to the age of 25

The provision of financial aid to Rivington and Blackrod High School for the benefit of the pupils by means of curriculum development and prizes.

To advance the education of pupils of Stratford-upon-Avon School by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities not normally provided from the government's funding allocation.

Engage in activities which support Southgate Secondary School (Sussex Way, Cockfosters) and advance the education of the pupils attending it.Provide and assist in the provision of such facilities or items for education at the school (not provided by statutory funds) as the committee in consultation with the Governing Body shall from time to time determine.

The Guild of Parents fundraises to earn extra funds for the benefit of the pupils at Princes Risborough School

To advance in life and help young people aged 4 to 18 by providing a novice dance festival the South West of England and to support and develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals.

To advance all aspects of the education of pupils attending Balshaw's C of E High School Leyland by developing effective relationships between staff parents &others associated with school. Engaging in activities/providing facilities/equipment to support school & advance education of pupils not ordinarily provided by the Local Education Authority. Support appropriate local charities

Principally providing grants for underprivileged children transferring from primary to secondary school.Also some assistance for students entering university. Beneficaries must live within the area of the former Elland Urban District Council as at 1st April 1974.

Fairfield High School PTA raises money to enable the school to pay for events, activities or equipment outside the normal school budget. This money helps to enrich school life for all students.

Organisation of activities to support and promote the educational aims of the school.

Since 2002 activities of WNF were carried out by the Mr Antony Winston Netto ( now deceased ) and now by Dr C M Netto and Mr V Netto. Both secondary school and Master of Social Work students are supported financially/educationally/in interpersonal skills. They are encouraged to inculcate empathy for blind people and others less fortunate than themselves.
