Our charity is democratic, self funded and a self managed organisation which exists to provide education & leisure activities for men & women, no longer in full time employment. Activities are organised entirely by members who both learn from & teach each other. At present nearly 70 groups meet to discuss & learn about a wide variety of subjects.

The charity aims to provide activities, which includes developing minds through education, offering skills through practical training, disseminating good character and manners through mentoring, improving relationships through counselling, helping lives through aid and relief work.

Objectives of U3A are 1. to advance the education of the public, in particular the education of older people no longer in full time gainful employment in Whitwick and District and its surrounding locality. 2.The provision of facilities for leisure time and recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the above persons in the interests of their social welfare.

CANVEY ISLAND U3A IS A SELF-HELP, SELF-MANAGED LIFELONG LEARNING CO-OPERATIVE FOR OLDER PEOPLE NO LONGER IN FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT. WE HOLD A MONTHLY MEETING FOR OUR MEMBERS. MEMBERS SHARE LEARNING EXPERIENCES IN A WIDE RANGE OF INTEREST GROUPS TO PURSUE LEARNING NOT FOR QUALIFICATION BUT FOR FUN

Equip is currently working with the Rwandan Ministry of Education and the Districts of Bugesera and Nyarugenge to provide good quality, affordable vocational education designed to increase the ability of young people to gain employment or start their own small businesses. Equip assists with the provision of business skills training and start-up finance for eligible young people.

Delivering free activities to build inclusion, nuture equality and diversity and employability and to develop the empathy, constructive activity and deescalation of harm in young people.

NBYFC EXISTS TO TAKE CHRISTIANITY RELEVANTLY TO YOUNG PEOPLE SO THEY CAN MAKE THEIR OWN INFORMED DECISION ABOUT FAITH. WE ALSO SEEK TO CREATE NEW AND RELEVANT WAYS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE TO GROW IN THEIR CHRISTIAN COMMITTMENT. OUR WORK IS IN CHURCHES, SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITIES THROUGH INVOLVEMENT IN RE LESSONS, ASSEMBLIES, SCHOOL CLUBS, YOUTH CLUBS, MENTORING, YOUTH EVENTS, CAMPS AND MORE.

Muslim Womens Centre runs activities for women, children & young people: leisure, health & education: taking into account cultural, religious and other barriers preventing them using other facilities. We organise trips & cultural events and provide a setting for ESOL & basic skills; we offer study support & advocacy over educational matters, youth activities & health and healthy-living activities.

Brighton and Hove U3A is one of 1100 u3a around the country that are designed to promote self learning. It provides a wide range of social and educational group activities during the day for those not in full time employment.

The organisation is fully committed to creating a long lasting change by ÔÇ£Empowering Women in Life, Family & CareerÔÇØ.Kamyabi provides specialised structured pathway to disadvantaged women with a holistic approach to employ their inherited skills align them with employment market, by creating suitable social enterprises.

The Charity aims to alleviate the suffering of our fellow humans through activities in the fields of education, vocational training and skills development, healthcare, drinking water and sanitation, mainly in UK and India. We will do this by supporting existing work by organisations who we approve, and through our own work.

To relieve need and promote health for young people between the ages of 12 and 18 years, living in Gloucestershire and Worcestershire, who cannot adequately access and participate in sport through lack of funding, by providing them with financial support for the acquisition of essential sporting equipment and coaching and to provide them with mentoring support where necessary.
