Our mission is to help young people make positive choices in their lives by improving their health, social wellbeing and employability. We provide accessible and engaging sports, physical activities and holistic wellbeing programs to children aged 6-16 years old. We also provide opportunities for young people aged 16-24 years old to gain qualifications and move into sustainable employment.

The Joe Gilligan Trust exists to support and improve the lives of teenagers and young adults fighting Cancer. As Joe was a drummer, the trust also provides performance opportunities for young musicians for example - gigs, shows & professional mentoring. The majority of our fundraising is through music and the performing arts.

I run and respond to local community needs, enabling people aged 50 and over to take a lead role in both setting up and participating in volunteering activities that improve the health and well-being of others in our community. Provides village hall facility for local groups in Dunvant and its neighbourhood

We find single person accommodation in the private sector for veterans who are or at risk of being homeless or in prison and provide ongoing support during their tenancy for problems that led to their situation or with their tenancy or benefits. We refer issues such as mental health, alcohol or drug misuse, or debt, to specialist partners. We provide access to employment and lifeskills training,

We teach children and young people scriptural principles for life. We hold coffee mornings for the elderly and unemployed people. We pray and comfort mankind who are experiencing difficult situations and give help where we can. Most of all we preach and teach the gospel. We are a community church, we are there for everyone.

Provision of educational, cultural and social activities for persons who have retired from full time employment

This is a Service User and Carer Mental Health Wellbeing Renovation Project to help Service Users rebuild self confidence; self esteem and develop new skills to equip them to enable them to get back into the job market. When completed it will provide a multi-purpose venue to generate income to enable the charity to fulfil its objects and provide a drop-in, jobs, training and activities for all.

We engage in various aspect of christian religious activities, general counselling, social and community enterprises including youth, children and women initiatives including leisure and befriending schemes. Poverty relief including information & advice about employment,education/training and other finance related issues. These are aimed at reaching the general public and mankind in general.

1. Biblical Studies and training workshops to be held within the confines of the church. 2. Pastoral care for young people encompassing spiritual, physical and emotional needs. 3. Pre and Post educational support and mentoring so as to develop both independence and skills amongst young adults.

Ashingdon & Rochford U3a is a self-help organisation for people no longer in full time employment, who live in the Ashingdon & Rochford area. Affiliated to the Third Age Trust, members pay an annual membership fee and are able to enjoy educational, creative, leisure and sporting activities, attend a monthly meeting with a guest speaker, an inhouse newsletter and a U3A magazine "U3A Matters".

The African Youth organisation provides employment and training, and cultural awareness which enables young people to pay a fuller role in the communities, as well as raising academic achievements in African Cultural (Iyoba Cultural Group). The organisation works in partnerships with various community groups including Race Equality in Newham, (REIN), and the Afro Caribbean Resource Centre.

We share the Word of God through services and outreach. We mentor young people, guiding them away from street life and towards leadership. We support women, young mothers, and those in need of emotional help. We aim to launch a food bank and serve hot meals to the homeless, showing God's love through action.

At present the main area of work is Urban and Rural Pakistan, The Charity works to improve living standards for the poor through Health, Education and Employment. We support people affected by natural disasters and help in the after mass of the destruction caused. Also through our ongoing Health and Employment projects we are constantly provided help and support where needed.

Community Advice Service (CAS) Provides activities including Advice Information & Guidance; Health, Sports, & Physical Training; Skills & Employability Advice and Support; Climate Change & Energy Advice; Interactive ESOL Language Classes; Community Capacity Building; Community Cultural Events and Community Media Shows.

The prevention or relief of isolation of people who experience Autism living in Greater Manchester area who are socially excluded, in particular by providing opportunities to integrate and provide them with an opportunity to build capacity by establishing and growing friendship, employability and training/learning opportunities to relieve their needs and help them to integrate into society.

Islamic Fatwa Board (IFB) is concentrating on the UK activities to support primarily but not exclusively the poor families of Bangladeshi heritage. IFB?s work in Bangladesh will continue to fall. IFB aims to promote the benefit of disadvantaged people of ethnic minorities through education, training, matrimonial counselling and employment opportunities.

Support for families who have lost loved ones to knife, gun and gang crime. Raising awareness of the impacts of violent crime through presentations and safety events. Citizenship through recreation-drama, music,dance and sport. Creating educational opportunities, working with partners to facilitate mentoring, employment and apprenticeships. Campaign for justice, championing the rights of victims.

Main activities include:the operation of a supplementary school to support children in disadvantaged communites in Birmingham and Sandwell;the relief of unemployment by providing training to unemployed;the preservation of good health through health awareness of elderly people; andthe empowerment of disadvantaged people and single mothers, through counselling and mentoring.
