Taqwa Needy Trust is a Community Organisation offers services for local residents. The services are offered to the whole age spectrum in the community from young children to elders. The services can be grouped into Training, Education and Employment; Health and Well-being; Community Engagement.

THE ORGANIZATION HAD UNDERTAKEN THE FOLLOWING PROJECTS/ ACTIVITIES; 1 - Adult ESOL Classes. 2 - Study support and homework, 3 - Job search programme for the unemployed people. 4 - Free internet cafefor the community. 5 - One - One based advice on welfare benefits. 6 - creer advice for the youth school leavers. 7 -One - one based advice on Employment 8 - Basic Women's Training

Short term Educational Grants to children whose parents are experiencing financial difficulties as a result of employment crises, illness or death.

Enables people that are retired, semi-retired or not in full time employment to get involved collectively to learn new activities, involving both mind and body to enhance self-esteem and well-being. Facilities provided for learning, leisure & recreational activities provide opportunities for people to share their ideas, thoughts and memories with others, thereby enriching lives of those involved.

The Tiger Tree Foundation is a private Grant Making foundation set up by Neil and Kate Cooper. It aims to promote the advancement of disadvantaged people in the UK and abroad by supporting under invested communities towards change, through opportunities for improving health, education and employment.

LSL was established promote greater involvement of the Livery and individual members of Livery Companies with state schools. T.R.E.E. Project is a unique initiative to establish a reuse/recycling partnership within the Essex area. The project's committed to the reuse/recycling of WEEE & furniture. Conferences & seminars are held on topical issues, after which the appropriate government department is informed of our discussions. We have permanent groups which are concerned with specific subjects i.e. health, education, arts & media, consumer affairs, science & technology, foreign affairs, social employment & housing issues. These groups hold regular meetings.

Advice and advocacy, youth work, youth activities (i.e. youth club, sports, outing/trips, workshops, peer mentoring), educational link work for secondary schools, family support work, fathers outreach work and other community activities.

The Sher Jung Foundation, formed in memory of the Late Sher Jung, has been set up to promote and advance the values espoused by Sher Jung, by supporting and promoting aspiring writers with a particular emphasis on South Asian writers, as well as work to encourage literacy in the community. We hope to do this in many ways, including internships, scholarships and mentoring schemes.

CLASSS helps children & young people from Chapeltown, Harehills & other areas of Leeds to develop & enhance their educational potential. We offer after-school classes run by volunteer tutors to help children to improve their skills in Maths and English Tuition is tailored to the specific needs of each student. We encourage the involvement of parents & schools to help achieve this.

We implement educational and micro-enterprise projects, and provide practical help such as school building projects, IT training in local community learning centres to address poverty and isolation. We make links and create bridges between different groups, communities and vulnerable young and elderly people and those with learning and physical disabilities in England and Wales and Eastern Africa.
