The Help Fund provides support and financial assistance by way of grant and/or loan to all staff currently employed by Kent County Council when they find themselves in financial difficulties, also retired employees of Kent County Council and former employees of Kent County Council who are unemployed.

We will engage with volunteers who have an interest in Bee Keeping to provide them with the skills to mentor others. Once we have given them adequate training to work with the hive on an individual basis without mentorship, the idea is to offer them hives to work with at our apiary, until they are at a stage where they can work unsupported, should they wish to do so.

To advance the education of the public and in particular the education of older people no longer in gainful employment in Settle and its surrounding locality.

HOEF is current working with two village schools in Ghana, we are providing them with computers, books and paying the school fees for 20 orphans. We intend to start an awareness program in second cycle schools by showing films about aids, Christianity, gang culture and many more to help them have a better future. We hope to set up computer training centers to help the under privilege.
