We raise funds by holding several events during the school year. Funds are spent to enhance the school experience of Ark Blacklands Primary Academy pupils. A proportion of funds are allocated annually to each year group to be spent on workshops/trips. The remaining funds are used for extra books/ICT equipment, play equipment etc. Any staff member can request funding by applying to the charity.

Acorn Chaplaincy's activities are aim to relieve persons in need and hardship by reason of addiction by the provisions of pastoral care and support ministries, such as Community Detoxification Program, running of Recovery Courses and mentoring. We also provide information to help dispel stigma and prejudices against people with addictions.

We support applicants through a personalised mentoring programme, pairing them with a current UK medical student. We inspire the next generation of doctors through webinars, events and conferences.

We promote the Christian Faith to youth and their families, through teaching and leisure activities and residential camps, when possible. In Romania, grants and material goods are given to prevent or relieve poverty and where possible to assist individuals to create income.
