We are an independent, self-financing and cross-denominational Christian (Secondary & FE Colleges) Schools Worker Project. We deliver assemblies and PSHE and RE lessons and run after school clubs and mentoring sessions in the Shrewsbury area. We support Christian Union groups and organise town wide events for young Christians - Taking the Good News relevantly to the young people of Shrewsbury.

The principal activity of the Charity in the year under review was that of the provision of education, information on health, employment and training to ethnic minority groups including refugees and asylum seekers living in the West London.

Embracing Change, (formally known as The Walk to Freedom Foundation) has an operational centre is based in central Luton, our services are currently based in the region. Member beneficiaries of our Dependency Support Programme are male and female and from many diverse backgrounds and cultures; between the ages of 16-60, and 11-20 for our Young People's Mentoring and Personal Development Workshops.

The objectives of the Trust are: to improve the physical, mental, spiritual health, social and economic wellbeing of local residents; support the advancement of education and training; assist those seeking employment; encourage environmental improvements in the neighbourhood.

Open community centre where we aim to provide educational support for both adults and teenagers so that they can use these skills to have a better quality of life. By having a community centre as a hub for the general public to come and learn various skills the organisation also provides a platform for the unemployed to get into work. The Centre offers guidance in the subject of Islam and welfare.

We've also provided direct financial and non-financial support and mentoring to people in the UK who were and are in need. We?ve supported high profile projects such as Festival of Code and LeaderShapeNOW.

Bethnal Green Spear Trust runs pre-employment training courses for young people living in East London. The Spear Programme is a highly interactive, award-winning twelve-month programme that equips and supports disadvantaged 16 to 24 year olds to place them into long-term employment. 75% of Spear completers enter employment, education or training, and remain there a year later.

- Collect donated furniture and electrical items and supply it to people on low incomes who are referred by social and other support workers.- Refurbish and repair furniture as necessary.- Promote and contribute to Exeter's recycling strategy by keeping furniture out of local landfill sites.- Provide practical work experience for the long-term unemployed volunteers manning the charity.

We seek to support the elderly, disabled, vulnerable and homeless. We welcome secondary school pupils for work experience. Profits make grants to children and young peoples' organisations.
