Been There connects over 18's struggling with body image issues with a vetted and trained Mentor, via an app. This gives the Mentees the opportunity to speak to someone relatable who has 'Been There' themselves. Our Mentors are here to support, empower and, most importantly, listen.

We provide 1:1 pastoral mentoring, group courses and a Wellbeing Cafe for young people which promote their positive self-esteem, mental health and identity in order that they can thrive educationally and in family, community and work life. This includes young people who are coping with loss experienced as a result of bereavement and family breakdown and those who are at risk of school exclusion.

The organisation provides after school support for children in the form of Madrassa classes , Maths & English from monday to thursday , in addition we offer ESOL English for speakers of another languages. We also distribute food banks to local residents in need and arrange funerals in the event of a community member's death.

Our Education Training Centre in Bangladesh provides education, vocational training courses and teaches basic life skills. The Suit Works is a free service based in the Sheffield City Region to help unemployed people to succeed at interview by building confidence through personal styling. Clients referred to the charity are given formal clothing (which they keep)and a styling session to help them look fantastic, feel confident and perform well. This unique service in the region removes a basic barrier to employment.
