Leek U3A has its own constitution which has been approved by the Third Age Trust to which it is affiliated and has a mission statement which explains it aims and objects, which are to advance the education and wellbeing of our members by provision of academic, cultural and recreational activities for our members, all of whom are eligible if not in full time employment and of the older generation.

We work with people that face particular barriers to conventional employment. We help them take responsibility for their own future and help them explore the possibility of self employment. They will be able to test their business idea and we will help them ensure they have funding in place. We will offer them their own office space. We then provide timely, relevant and on-site mentoring.

The provision of support to young people and young adults leaving prison and returning to the community. This is provided through a faith mentor and working alongside faith communities. We work with young people of all faiths and none.

EN:Able Communities works in partnership with social housing providers in Northern England to 1) Support the relief of poverty2) Enable social mobility through the provision and financial support of training and employment 3) Assistance and support for the provision of community facilities 4) The protection or conservation of the environment

We are a Liverpool Combined Authority based charity helping Armed Forces personnel, service leavers and veterans get access to mental health support, wellbeing, treatment and employment. We work with the local authorities very closely by supporting the most vulnerable cases including those who suffer with Complex PTSD, chronic homelessness, addiction and those who are escaping domestic violence.

To advance the education of the public in the subject of the history of the Dartmoor Hill Ponies and any matters pertaining to animal welfare through social media/website, face to face events and work experience placements. Attending to Hill Ponies in need of care and attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances or ill usage. We have run gelding clinics.

The Family centre is based in an area characterised by high levels of social deprivation. The charity awards grants to young people under the age of 25 to pursue courses in higher or further education or in connection with vocational training. Only rarely are awards made to those under 17 years of age. Applicants must have lived in the parishes of Salford Priors, Bidford-on-Avon, Harvington or Cleeve Priors for at least 2 years before applying.

Scarborough DAG is run by disabled people for disabled people, carers and those with an interest in disability. The group offers a comprehensive information and advice service covering benefits, access, discrimination, employment, holidays, leisure etc. The service is provided for people who live in the area of Scarborough and District.

Endure aim to change the lives of young people and ex offenders living in disadvantaged communities in South London through one-to-one and group mentoring. Through mentoring and support we aim to motivate, guide and assist young people from hard to reach backgrounds that are considered to be at risk of offending, socially excluded or in need of support.

Norfolk Clubhouse provides positive opportunities for those aged 18 plus into adulthood, living with unmet mental health needs to access a safe place to meet and belong as a member. Clubhouse provides opportunities to access training and to develop skills to access meaningful work, running the Clubhouse and to access Transitional Employment Placements with local employers in Norfolk.

Publication of Dual Language Magazine, Cultural & Educational Activities, Oral History of Bangladeshi in Greater Manchester produced 50 videos and published a history book.
