Menston Area Nature Trust (MANT) is a charity aimed at creating, enhancing and protecting habitats for nature in and around Menston. MANT's immediate aim is to create a network of wildlife spaces in Menston through encouraging and developing nature friendly gardens and outdoor areas. Longer term the charity would like to create community nature reserves.

The Friends of Northwood Cemetery's activities are: to promote the heritage, preservation, restoration and maintenance of Northwood Cemetery including its chapels and other standing structures; to promote and maintain the burial records of Northwood Cemetery; and to promote the conservation of the landscape, arboreta, flora and wildlife of Northwood Cemetery - all for the public benefit.

The nature reserve is located on a former landfill site next to the playing field on the Heatherlands Estate, classed as an Area of Rural Deprivation and formerly subject to fly-tipping, littering and other anti-social behavior. The focus of our activities is to transform this neglected site into a nature reserve for the benefit of wildlife, the local community and visitors from further afield.

We raise funds to support work to protect the critically endangered Grauer's Gorillas and their habitat in Kahuzi-Biega National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo and to promote the sustainable development of the surrounding communities.

To provide emergency treatment, onward care and rehabilitation of sick, injured and orphaned wild British hedgehogs. To release strong, healthy hedgehogs back into their natural habitat.

The Kafue Foundation's mission is to advance conservation and community initiatives across the Kafue National Park, Zambia. We aim to empower existing initiatives that operate within the Kafue. We will be partnering with leading and emerging conservationists to protect endangered species, develop sustainable solutions & reduce human-wildlife conflict and work with local communities.

Mansfield Wildlife Rescue provides help for injured, abandoned and orphaned native wildlife with the aim to return those in care back to their natural habitat. Some examples of the wildlife we look after are badgers, foxes, hedgehogs, birds of prey, swallows etc. The areas we cover are Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, South Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

We will actively involve the local community in caring for, improving and monitoring the habitat and the wildlife on the land that we manage. Most of this involvement will be through voluntary work at High Leasowes, for example seed sowing, weeding, brash clearance, tree and hedge planting.

Our aim is to further the conservation and preservation of the Wild Bird species by providing a rescue, care and rehabilitation service for sick, injured, or orphaned wild birds, with the aim of eventually releasing them back to the wild to their natural habitat. Occasional rescue, care, rehabilitation & rehoming of other wild, abandoned, feral or injured creatures.

Cambridgeshire Wildlife Care is a charity dedicated to the protection of wildlife in Ely and the surrounding area. We provide free talks to schools, afterschool clubs, community groups and care homes, as well as information, advice and guidance to members of the public via telephone, email, our website and social media. We also provide financial support to local wildlife rescues.

To own and manage public woodland for the benefit of the community including without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing providing open air recreation and exercise, spiritual refreshment and enjoyment; maintaining and improving the wood for the public, local wildlife and nature conservation; enhancing natural beauty and countryside amenities; providing educational and other opportunities.

The object of the charity is to protect and conserve the wildlife and natural environment of the Slipper Mill Pond, which is located in the Parish of Southbourne, West Sussex, for the benefit and quiet enjoyment of the public. Much of the maintenance of the pond infrastructure is achieved by volunteers, but larger projects require contractors to carry out the work.

The BNHS was formed in 1946 and its main function is to record the flora and fauna of the county of Bedfordshire. Over 20 recorders cover many branches of natural history study and their annual reports are published in the Bedfordshire Naturalist. The Society depends on annual subscriptions and members receive quarterly newsletter Wild about Beds and programmes of meetings.

We are an independent wildlife charity working to halt and reverse the decline of wildlife habitats and species in Tenterden, Kent, and beyond. We collaborate and partner with local residents and young people, landowners, councils and conservation organisations.

To conserve and enhance the natural beauty and amenity of the area of Brandon Wood including Flora and Fauna natural to it and to provide or assist in the provision of facilities for education, recreation or other leisure activities in the interests of social welfare with a view to improving the conditions of life.

The charity promotes conservation of the environment of the Nyika National Park and the Vwaza Marsh Wildlife Reserve through an education programme in schools and communities in the areas and research activities. Promotion is through newsletters, talks, the website (www.nyika-vwaza-trust.org) and fund raising events in the UK. These activities also help to promote tourism to Malawi.

Mount Kenya Trust supports conservation on Africa's second highest mountain - Mount Kenya. Projects support the people, forest, wildlife and water surrounding the peaks.

We offer social and therapeutic horticulture for mental health and well being. We provide physical and mental rehabilitation, in the context of social inclusion, through a variety of gardening activities and associated crafts. We are based at the orchards in Bronllys Hospital, Powys, LD3 0LU.

The Courtayrd Farm Trust funds charitable activity in the Parish of Ringstead, nature conservation work in Norfolk, manages Holme Marsh SSSI jointly with the Norfolk Wildlife Trust, and encourages public access to Courtyard Farm. We occasionally fund more general chaitable activity, but only with small, one-off grants. We do not fund individuals. At present our income is fully committed.
