To advance the Christian religion by the restoration, preservation, repair, maintenance, improvement and beautification of the Parish Church of St Nicholas Dereham in the Diocese of Norwich, and of the monuments, fittings, fixtures, stained glass, furniture, ornaments and chattels in the Church and Churchyard belonging to the Church.

Pevensey Church Farm Trust owns Church Farm field, Pevensey, which is adjacent to the churchyard of St Nicolas Pevensey. The Trust was created to provide an extension of the graveyard in part of its field, which requires approval from the county archaeologist and church authorities, and the raising of funds for an archaeological survey. The field is currently let to a tenant for grazing of animals

We have been tidying up the cemetery and resetting some of the headstones and arranging with the local High School to create a memorial garden and wildlife garden and they are going to photograph and record the monumental inscriptions (MIs).
