The Haven Centre is a venue for the local community. The cafe is open for people to drop in for a chat or to partake in an activity. Additionally, we have a drop in service on a Monday evening, where people can come along, play table tennis, do a board game with others or learn a new skill. To run a community centre for the provision of services to the residents of Carterton and the surrounding neighbourhood. This is done by hiring rooms to local individuals or groups for a variety of activities and providing a community training cafe.

Our aim is to build community in Bardney through the promotion of the Christian faith and values. We work as part of the Churches in Bardney by organizing a number of public events and through a Coffee shop we have opened. We also support pioneering activity to begin new forms of church in Lincolnshire.

The charity was established following a successful application to Wirral Borough Council to secure the future of the library via their 'Community Asset Transfer' process. The charity seeks to reopen the building, maintaining a library, freely available to residents, while also incorporating a dedicated community space and a cafe.
