Chat Cafe CIO is in its third year of operation. It promotes social inclusion through activities, such as chat tables in local cafes, in venues across Dorset to solve loneliness and social exclusion, building confidence and assisting mental wellbeing among local residents and for wider public benefit.

Our activities meet our charitable objectives, these include:Community Cafe: provides fresh, home-made foods to those with low-income or that are homeless/vulnerable within societyWorkshops: Employment & Skills, Languages, Cooking, Arts & CraftsAdvice & Assistance: Pro Bono Legal advice, Accommodation advice

Provision of funding, with others, to enable consulting and advisory work in a number of African countries with a view to relieving poverty of the small scale coffee grower; the creation of a strategic model for national coffee development programmes aimed at impoverished coffee growers who cannot pay their bills; and the provision of secretariat services working with national institutions.

Activities: Music especially singing, has the power to help unlock memories. The Butterfly Cafe, gives the opportunity for people to meet in a safe environment and to feel included. These events are held monthly at the Victoria Rooms Fordingbridge. We are in the process of developing a Befriending Service for people in the Ringwood, Fordingbridge and surrounding areas.

We discuss issues of relevence to the area, particularly community relations. We arrange house groups. We support Christian Aid. We organise worship and study. We hold prayer breakfasts. We organise a Festival Cafe. We give grants.

Supports informal carers (that is people who have caring responsibilities for a family member, friend or neighbour) and the people they care for. Runs a number of projects e.g. carers cafe, community information cafe to achieve this support.Works in partnership with other local organisations to achieve best outcomes

The Charity was established in 1904 and was used to provide children's 'Johnson Tea' - an annual event at Payne's Cafe Royale until the mid 1960's. After being dormant for some years, the Town Council arranged with the Charity Commissioners for a new scheme to regulate the Trust. It is now used to relieve hardship amongst local school children up to the age of 13, under certain conditions.

Objectives a) the provision of maintenance and repair of places of worship, hostel accommodation and facilities for pilgrims;b) the promotion of public worship; c) the advancement of religion and relief of poverty anywhere in the world.The charity operates the Pilgrim Bureau, a hostel for pilgrims, and the Slipper Chapel at the site of the Walsingham Shrine as well as shops and a cafe.

Wandsworth Mind @ The Forester provides a base for people with serious mental health problems. It has a cafe and activities aimed at promoting social inclusion, recovery and a sense of belonging. Service users work as volunteers or sessional staff, with the aim of creating a community which is both therapeutic and business-like. It also runs two second-hand shops and a housing support service

The Charity was originally launched to be responsible for a Christian Cafe called Cornerstone in Ashford Kent. The cafe has since closed and the charity is currently re imagining itself and its objectives to ensure appropriate use of its dormant funds.

AT THE MOMENT WE ARE PROVIDING A COFFEE MORNING FOR THE LOCAL COMMUNITY AND OTHER AREAS. ALSO FOLLOWING A LUNCHEON CLUB FOR THE ELDERLY IN OUR AREA AND ELSWHERE.WE HAVE A ACTIVE CHARITY SHOP THAT IS IN A DEPRIVED AREA THIS HAS BEEN VERY HELPFUL TO THE PEOPLE LIVING IN THE AREA IN THE BARNSLEY DISTRICT.

Support and provision of amenities for Radnor Gardens - a park owned by LBRUT. Since 2016, two local residents have run the cafe by agreement with the Friends, developing it into a popular venue. Planning permission has now been granted for an all-weather extension.Seasonal walks are held with a Council Officer to check on the state of the gardensFundraising events are held regularly.

mhs community charity takes the lead on Corporate Social Responsibility for the mhs homes group. The key objectives of the CSR are tackling worklessness, community cohesion and digital inclusion. All projects undertaken or sponsored by the charity fall within this remit.

To provide activities, opportunities, information and support to children and young people in and around Tenbury Wells.

We run a community afterschool and homework project; addressing students' needs and promoting activities to support their interest areas. We also run a drop-in internet cafe facility at our premises to encourage boys to take part [and which is open to everyone], and hold prize-givings to recognise participant and volunteers' achievement. We also support 2 schools in two different areas of Somalia.

Community based project using a modernised double decker bus,extensively refitted as a chic multi functional cafe providing a moblie venue for social,educational, recreational and leisure use by going into the more challenging areas of the community and serving complimentary refreshments whilst also offering multi media entertainment for the youth as an alternative to congregating on the streets.

Sunday worship services, Messy Church, midweek prayer and Bible study groups, Ladies Fellowship, Community Garden. Weddings, funerals and baptisms. Holy Communion once a month. Grant-making to other Christian charities (including aid work). The church operates a Coffee Shop every weekday morning, and hosts a Pre-School 5 days a week. Also a Toddler group.

To provide activities for young people (5-13 years old) and the youth (11-25 years old): shelter, training and day care services for the homeless; services for the disabled and the elderly: advice, training and workshops to equip people to gain skills and get into employment: daily Cafe services and IT support; operate a charity shop to support our community projects and orphanges in Africa.

We ran a drop-in youth cafe in Stoneleigh, Surrey, 3.30pm-6.00pm weekdays, as a venue for 11-16s to meet their friends and other young people. The target group was those young people who, for various reasons, were at risk of becoming engaged in anti-social behaviour. The cafe ran for about 10 years. We are currently wondering what our next project might be.

We provide a friendly environment in Haslewey where older people can socialise and take part in activities such as keep fit, computers and art/film clubs. We have almost 50 volunteers.The Orchard (Wifi) Cafe has a varied menu and provides a subsidised hot meal a day for the elderly but is inviting to the full range of ages who use the Haslewey Centre.
