To provide a centre for recreation and leisure-time occupation in the interests of social welfare, in particular young people, and to promote the education and training of young people. We also work with the most vulnerable in our community and those with anxiety or mental health issues.

Advancing education and social welfare through providing and managing a community centre for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of primarily benefitting the inhabitants of Whipton, Exeter, and those individuals accessing the clubs, groups and utilising the centre as a venue. At present, regular groups using the hall include music, art and social clubs, groups supporting needs.

JPCA manages and runs the Community Centre for the benefit of the local community and residents. The charity provides and hosts social, leisure and health promoting activities. These include coffee mornings, weekly lunches, community breakfasts, an annual village show, keep fit classes, yoga, film nights, history and archaeology society, and various other clubs and societies. The facilities we provide are a village hall, swimming pools and car park.

The objective of the Charity is to manage the affairs and usage of the Farley Wood Community Centre: to maintain the Centre to a high standard and good state of repair; promote its availability and use to the Amen Corner community; and ensure that it meets the leisure and recreational requirements of the community.

The Association Maintains and runs the Horn Park Community Centre as a venue in pursuit of the Associations' objects.The premises are let for such community groups and there is a full time nursery using the premises.

The management committee are responsible for the running of a community centre. The centre is used by groups for various activities e.g Playgroup. The building is also used for weddings and parties. The committee also fundraise by holding dances, table top sales and bingo.

The Association manages and maintains the community centre which it hires out to clubs and groups to provide various activities. It promotes education and recreation with the object of improving the conditions of life for all members of the community.

The trustees administer and maintain a building for the use of by local charities, organisations and inhabitants of Wilton and the surrounding areas for such activities as fund raising, meeting facilities and recreational purposes.The work of maintaining a booking diary, keeping accounts and daily maintenance and upkeep of the facility is undertaken by the trustees with the help of a caretaker.

Park Community Action operates in one of the most deprived areas of Sheffield. We run a local forum and a community centre which includes a volunteer run library, a cafe and youth club. Eastcott Community Organisation is a registered charity and its committee of volunteers are mostly local residents. CUFOS maintains and manages a community centre in the former railway station at Alexandra Palace for use by the inhabitants of the London Borough of Haringey without distinction of sex, ethnic origin or of political, religious or other opinions.
