Shadwell Opera is one of the UK's leading opera voices, performing since 2009. We work with the UK's best young singers and instrumentalists, introducing people to British contemporary opera: in theatres, warehouses, churches, museums, and community centres. We educate schoolchildren about opera, and work with communities to give people their first experience of the art form.

Provide a venue for local community

WE PROVIDE FACILITIES AND ACTIVITIES FOR RESIDENTS IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY AND SURROUNDING AREAS. THESE INCLUDE, FITNESS CLASSES, CHILDRENS ACTIVITIES, ART CLASS, LUNCH CLUB, LIBRARY LINK AND MUCH MORE. THE CENTRE OPERATES AS A WARM HUB AND WE ALSO RUN A FOODBANK 2 DAYS PER WEEK .WE HOLD FUNDRAISING EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. AND HOLD ANNUAL ACTIVITIES SUCH AS PLAYSCHEMES AND CHRISTMAS PANTO.

We have approx. 40 groups who hire the Oulton Community Centre on a regular basis for meetings and activities. A member of each group is invited to attend our association meetings. The Centre is also hired out for adult and children's parties.

The Charity provides lunch clubs and activities for the elderly and adults with disabilities. It provides a telephone befriending service for the housebound and lonely. Its overall aim is to nurture social cohesion and community building regardless of religious affiliation or social status. Services are delivered at Maryvale Community Centre, Old Oscott Hill, Birmingham B44 9SR.

To run the community centre for the benefit of the whole community of Abram and to to establish, promote, equip, organise,maintain, manage and administer a centre for community services of any and all description. We act as a general advice and community centre with various clubs and sports teams operating from the premises, gymnastics, badminton, football, dance classes. Small or large groups can be accommodated. We also have a bar and a function/meeting room, all with disabled access. We provide a mother and toddler group and baby exercise class.

To provide and manage recreational facilities. Playing fields, playgrounds, community centres, social facilities and other amenities of a similiar nature in the interest of the social welfare for the benefit of the community residing in the parish of Hawstead Suffok, the advance of education, the protection of health and pursuing any objects which are deemed in law to be charitable.

Amateur Community Sports Centre

The charity operates 'The Angel community centre and 'All Saints Hall' in Langport. The Angel provides a volunteer led variety of social, welfare, hobbies and activities for community support, particularly those not supported by mainstream services elsewhere. All Saints Hall is available for hire by local groups, organisations and individuals.

The Charity provides social, cultural, educational and sporting activities for the residents of Stagsden. It provides and maintains the Village Hall as a high quality venue for these activities.

Management of the Abshot Community Centre

Providing Community Centre for the use of Upper Colwyn Bay and district residents.

To develop youth targeted projects and manage a youth facility for youth and community groups to access that will support the development of confidence, self esteem and social skills for young people from diverse backgrounds.

Broadway Youth & Community Centre provides a hall with facilities for community use in the Grindon/Barnes area of Sunderland.Current activities include Children's Dance lessons, Toddler groups, fitness classes for all ages with Active Families NE, a meeting venue for the Association of Sunderland Town Women's Guilds, Broadway Towns Womens Guild and Sunderland & District Model Railway Society.

The objects of the CIO are:(1) The provision and maintenance of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Staplehurst without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for:(a) meetings, lectures and classes, and(b) other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants.

We hold services of public worship weekly and special services at Christian festivals, coffee fellowship morning weekly, Brass Band practice weekly, host yoga and exercise groups, work with the Goslings pre-school who use our premises, and hold many other social events and concerts.
