The Clopton Community Action Group serve to administer and manage the Ken Kennett Centre for the good of the community. The CCAG is responsible for the upkeep and running of the KKC and exists to protect and retain this resource for the immediate community and for community use by rental or otherwise by individuals, other charities or groups who benefit the community in any way.

The Friends of Harrow Weald work towards transforming parks into the very best community centres. For the benefit of both the environment and park users, parks should be carbon neutral and kept free from plastic and general litter, provide accessible drinking water and a safe environment for all with a strong emphasis on recycling and teaching.

The Centre is also used during term time by the local school A base for the W.I for some thirty years.

Provides a focal point for the military (particularly Gurkha) and civilian communities in the Shorncliffe area, including cultural, educational and social activities. Provides the facilities for a pre-school setting and youth activities.

We are custodians of the parish community centre and field. Events are held to generate income to maintain the property, cover by insurance, comply with requirements of fire, music, gambling etc. Local youth group, pensioners, other local groups use the facility.

Purchased the Methodist Chapel and converted it to a Community Centre. To maintain it for the benefit of the inhabitants of Roxby and surrounding villages.

The charity has not been able to establish any centre though we have been looking for a suitable building or land for last few years. Without any centre we were unable to organize any activities for the local community. The charity has been orgainising only Friday Prayers for members and well-wishers by hiring local community centre every Friday. Average 200 people attend at the prayer.

THE CIO OWNS A RECREATION GROUND KNOWN AS YNYS PARK WHICH CONTINUES TO BE WELL USED BY THE COMMUNITY WITH A NUMBER OF LOCAL FOOTBALL TEAMS USING THE GROUND COVERING A VARYING AGE GROUPS FROM JUNIOR THROUGH TO SENIOR TEAMS, AND A NEWLY REFURBISHED COMMUNITY CENTRE WHICH PROVIDES A FOCAL POINT FOR THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE.

United Church of Christ the Cornerstone Tregadillett is a Local Ecumenical Partnership (LEP) between the Church of England and the Methodist Church. Our church building is linked to the Tregadillett Community Centre in Tregadillett, Launceston, Cornwall. Our regular Sunday worship takes place in this building.
