Ludlow Womens Centre exists primarily for the benefit of local people in terms of physical, educational, emotional and psychological well-being. It is a community centre with two meeting rooms - one accommodates up to 100 people and the other an intimate space for activities such as meditation, counselling etc. Access by charitable and disability groups is ensured by its location and low costs.

Providing facilities for the community

The Sheffield Chinese Community Centre provides services and activities to meet the needs of the Chinese Community and hold annual events to engage a wider community for developing community cohesion. It acts as a focal point for Chinese community and voices for Chinese community in Sheffield. It provides a wide range of services through Health and Well Being Project and Youth Projects.

Solihull Lodge Community Centre is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents in Solihull Lodge and surrounding areas. Our mission is to create a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive environment where the community can connect, engage, and thrive. We hold children's parties, clubs for both adults and children, private hire with regular clubs such as Dog training and fundraising events

Maintenance and management of Christchurch Community Centre

Our current activities are the advancement of the Christian faith in accordance with doctrines set out in the statement of faith contained in the schedule 2.2.2 the relief of poverty 2.3 the trustees must use income in promoting the objects by establishing churches, ministries, community centres and educational institutions in Great Britain, Eire, Europe, Africa and other parts of the world.

We are a Sports and Community Centre for the Leven Valley District of Haverthwaite and surrounding villages. Activities include, Athletics, Cricket, Youth Club events and various other community activities.

Presently inactive.Intention to promote social activity in the area of West Oxfordshire

The centre provides a meeting place for the 5 villages which make up the parish of Crosscanonby.It is used by all age groups and has regular activities going on every week. Alongside regular activities we hire the centre out to groups or privately for parties etc. We organise events to suit all age ranges I.e fun days, fund raisers, concerts, whist drives etc.

Management of community centre used by community groups

The hall itself has continued to be well utilised, mainly by the uniformed groups. We completed the build with external cladding and the porch area. The centre continues to run on bookings income, with no major grants or donations, which shows that the hall is financially viable. Maintenance of £5000 is now reserved in accounts and we are looking to see if funds a rates reduction for parish users

THE CENTRE IS HIRED BY LOCAL GROUPS ON A PERMANENT BASIS WHICH IS ROTATED BETWEEN THE VARIOUS GROUPS. WHEN THE CENTRE IS AVAILABLE IT IS ALSO HIRED TO THE MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY FOR PARTIES, BAND PRACTICE, DANCE PRACTICE ETC. THE LOCAL GP PRACTICE ALSO USES THE FACILITY FOR MASS VACCINATION PROGRAMMES.

Managing the community centre to enable various user groups to hire the centre

SOCOPS operates 2 youth groups in Exeter, accessed by young people with a diagnosis of Aspergers syndrome or high functioning Autism. Socops provides social opportunities and support for the entire family including parents and siblings.The youth group for 8-15 year olds is based at a community centre and meets weekly.The youth group for 15+ meets at different venues in the community.
