The main charitable purpose of The Coleridge Trust is the refurbishment of the Coleridge burial area beneath St. Michael's Church Highgate, and the development of a learning/community centre to advance the study and recognition of the poet and his family's achievements and their contribution to the European Romantic Movement.

The project aims to enable people to participate fully in British society and gain access to opportunities such as employment, education and training through the sustainable provision of ESOL training.

Non profit making Community Centre all funds raised from hiring the centre to local residence are re invested into the running and up keep of the Centre. All committee members are volunteers.
