Health Charities That specialise in Addiction and dependency

We provide soup, sandwiches and hot drinks and a listening ear to adult persons (aged 18 years and over) suffering from homelessness, addiction, mental illness or loneliness. We are open on Thursday nights from 7.15pm-8.45pm. This work is a practical expression of our Christian faith. We also sign post guests to other useful agencies.

We provide in our building quiet recreational activities away from alcohol and the hurly-burly of public entertainment areas specifically for those at home from duty in the armed forces, and for the residents of the parish of Fylingdales.

The main activities of Giver of life apostolic mission church includes life teaching, counselling, individual & group prayer meeting, mothers & babies group sessions, youth meetings, drug/alcohol support and local business prayer meetings.

CAFE (Church Action for Families in Easington) Together is an Ecumenical project involving several different Christian Churches in the Easington Deanery. It provides a hot meal once a week on a Thursday to disadvantaged families and individuals as well as offering a referral service for those in need of financial advice/support, drug and alcohol abuse, victims of domestic violence etc

Jesus in My Corner is a transformative charity founded by Andrew Flute, an ex-professional boxer whose personal journey from addiction to redemption through Jesus Christ serves as the cornerstone of the organization. The charity leverages the power of faith and the discipline of boxing to provide hope, support, and practical assistance to individuals battling addiction and other life challenges.

Residential homes for homeless, abused, or vulnerable women of all faiths, sexualities, and circumstances. We provide a safe environment, facilitate change through person-centred care, and empower them to make lifestyle changes on their recovery to independent living. On-site substance misuse rehabilitation is not provided, but residents can access professional treatment for ongoing health issues.

Acorn Chaplaincy's activities are aim to relieve persons in need and hardship by reason of addiction by the provisions of pastoral care and support ministries, such as Community Detoxification Program, running of Recovery Courses and mentoring. We also provide information to help dispel stigma and prejudices against people with addictions.

The Charity is set up to donate to other Charities in the UK . The Charities that will be supported are those who provide assistance to persons in or leaving prisons, recovering addicts from any substance abuse, and the school Tonbridge County Grammar School for girls. These priorities are reviewed every two years.

Rhubarb Farm provides a diverse range of therapeutic activities specifically designed for adults with support needs. Situated in Langwith, we assist individuals with learning and developmental disabilities, mental and physical health challenges, those not in employment, education, or training, individuals recovering from substance misuse, and older adults experiencing isolation.

The charity is a Christian organisation. We aim to provide a safe place for Wymondham young people aged 13-18 to gather.
