Volunteers for South East Coast Ambulance Service who respond to 999 calls in their local area and provide medical assistance in advance of the ambulance arriving.

To provide emergency medical assistance to the local community in conjunction with West Midlands Ambulance service.

Volunteer CFRs are trained by ambulance services to give aid in life threatening emergencies. They respond locally & often arrive in the vital first few minutes to preserve life before the ambulance which may be some distance away. Equipment such as a defibrillator & car have to be provided by the charity which fund raises to support the team & to give CPR & AED training to our local community.

BASICS Cornwall provides volunteer emergency response doctors provide advance pre-hospital care at incidents across Cornwall. Our doctors attend incidents in conjunction with South Western Ambulance Service and deliver advanced medical procedures to critically ill or injured patients. BASICS Cornwall raises funds to equip and fund our doctors so that they can attend incidents.

To equip and train doctors to work voluntarily with the ambulance service at the scene of accidents, medical emergencies, major incidents and transport to hospital.Raise money for equipment and fund extended training for the doctors.To encourage extended training in immediate care for local GPs, nurses and paramedics.To encourage first aid training locally for members of the general public.

The choir travel to various concert venues, singing to raise money for charities such as Leukaemia & Cancer Research, Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance to name but a few. Travel and other costs are taken from funds that are raised by holding coffee mornings and raffles. The choir website is now up and running thus enabling the public to find out more about the choir.

Grants are made twice a year to Southolt Church, Village Residents, Local Community Bus, Parish Newsletter(s), East Anglian Air Ambulance, EACH - East Anglian Children's Hospice and others based on need including grants in support of the Village Environment.

The aim of the organisation is, by the provision of communication services, to relieve distress and suffering resulting from emergencies and disasters. CFRs are volunteers who are trained to a nationally recognised qualification by West Midlands Ambulance Service and dispatched by them to medical emergencies in our area (Fulford, Meir Heath, Blythe Bridge, Cresswell, Leigh, Milwich, Sandon, Hilderstone & Moddershall) and further afield if required. Providing life-saving care in those crucial first few minutes prior to the arrival of an ambulance.

Goodwill activities to our 4 villages including: Car ambulance service providing transport to local doctors, dentists and hospitals when villager unable to drive; various goodwill activities for pensioners such as an afternoon tea and Christmas parcels; and donations to individuals and local organisations including the school. Fundraising events such as an annual fete and occasional quiz night

TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN BASIC LIFE SUPPORT, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PROVISION OF TRAINING IN THE PRINCIPLES OF FIRST AID

The preservation of health and saving of lives in Northamptonshire for the public benefit by providing early assistance to patients residing in Northamptonshire by responding to life threatening emergencies in collaboration with the East Midlands Ambulance Service and providing educational training in basic life support and first aid to community groups in Rural Northamptonshire.

Provide meeting facilities for the community including, St John Ambulance , Youth activities &U3A art group and indoor games.

The Charity provides two rapid response vehicles to the local ambulance trust. Manned by volunteers, this asset can be dynamically positioned to where there is a need in Lincolnshire. The asset enables advance life saving skills to be utilised before a front line ambulance arrives. Emergencies ranging from breathing difficulties, chest pains to multiple vehicle RTCs are covered by the volunteers.

To provide support for existing and retired members of South Central Ambulance Service (Incorporating Hampshire Ambulance Service) Benevolent Fund when a need arises.

The Friends of Nepal Ambulance Service works to reduce the suffering, disability and mortality for the people of Nepal by providing clinical leadership, logistical, financial and training support for the Nepal Ambulance Service, which was established in April 2011.
