We are a group of fully checked friends who aim to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere. We seek to ease the trauma of living with cancer , dementia; long term health conditions and isolation and loneliness by helping in the home, collecting prescriptions, facilitating visits to hospital and medical centres. We also help to provide a social life and respite breaks where appropriate.

To relieve sickness and to preserve and protect good health of children with cancer, by funding new research, providing financial support to trainee nurses and to those caring for seriously ill children; and to educate the public in childhood cancer funding and treatment and the critical role played by nurses, hospital staff and volunteers in caring for and nurturing seriously ill children.

To raise awareness of the symptoms and issues surrounding ovarian cancer to women, including those in the highest risk groups, predominantly but not exclusively across the North-West of England To raise awareness within the medical and clinical professions of the importance of early detection and diagnosis of ovarian cancer

Making grants and donations in support of the following areas1 Sport in Sidmouth Devon2 Well being and relief of suffering of the elderly3 Prostate cancer research4 Physical and mental well being of former members of the British armed forces

Funding of arts therapy for cancer patients.

The Errol McKellar Foundation's aim is to pursue the advancement of health and the saving of lives by creating greater awareness of the dangers and issues of prostate cancer among men in England and Wales and the promotion of the need for regular health and prostate cancer PSA tests, in particular but not exclusively for men over the age of 45.1 in 8 men in the UK will develop prostate cancer.

The Three Bears Foundation is a York based National Charity, focusing on the serious challenges of Pancreatic Cancer by raising awareness of the symptoms, seeking to help those diagnosed and working to support Research into the Disease. The Charity raises Funds through a variety of Events, working with the Community and also with PC UK as to Research having already forwarded over £90,000.00

The Bowel Movement awards hardship funds up to £2,000 to young individuals in the UK affected by a bowel cancer diagnosis. Applications are made through our website.We aim to increase knowledge by raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer through our social media streams, and collaboration with other bowel cancer campaigns, as well as working with professionals within the field

Race Against Blood Cancer's goal is to increase the volume and diversity of people who register as potentially life-saving stem cell donors.Our ultimate goal is to increase the number of people from minority groups ? whether defined by race, ethnicity or gender ? which are vastly underrepresented on the donor registry as stem cell or bone marrow donors.

o To improve oral health and provide better access to dental care in areas worldwide through mobile dental vans and static clinics.o This will benefit those who have restricted access to dentistry. o Preventative and teaching programmes will be set up in these areas to help improve the general oral health of these populations.o Oral cancer screening

To raise money for the benefit of patients and their families on Somersham Ward (Cancer Ward) and oncology clinics at Ipswich Hospital.

We raise funds and donate to selected cancer projects in South Yorkshire, 8 societies, organisations and hospitals were beneficiaries of the fund. We raise money through the resale of second hand goods. All monies taken(except running costs) in the shop are donated. All staff are unpaid volunteers. Year ending 31 September 2013, ?66500 was shared between the 8 beneficiaries.

Shaftesbury Breast Cancer Awareness provides financial support to people living in the SP7 and SP8 postcodes. We also provide emotional support via groups with no limits on location

Our aim was to build on the charitable work carried out the by the late Kerry Key, through fundraising and sponsorship. Over the past year we have held various events. These events have raised awareness of disease and health conditions affecting people suffering with cancer and other illnesses.

SCaRF aims to promote research into the causes, prevention and treatment of skin cancer generally, and malignant melanoma in particular. It aims to publish the results of such research and thus to help cut significantly the number of new cases of skin cancer each year in the UK. As a result to significantly cut the number of deaths from the disease.

To assist charities whose aims include advancing the development, education, physical and/or mental health of persons under the age of 25 and to assist charities whose aims include promoting and protecting the physical and mental health of sufferers of cancer.

Our Charity provides Support for anyone going through ANY type of cancer and their Loved ones, by providing holistic support, community groups and complementary therapies, delivered by professionals in a confidential environment either in person or soon to be on-line. We are a non-profit charity and are open at the Orpington Village Hall, Kent every Thursday from 10am-4pm.

We have a club for the over 55s many of whom are socially isolated and/or have mobility difficulties, a monthly Kids & Parents club reaching single parent families, some of which have children with special needs. We also provide facilities for a local adults craft group and Cancer Support group. Alongside Christian activities - worship & education, Weddings, Funerals & Infant Dedication.

Chepstow and Caldicot Lions Clubs activities are exclusively charitable and include fundraising and supporting community projects specifically for young people, the elderly, children with cancer, the environment and those in need generally. The Club works with other organisations and voluntary bodies to achieve these aims and to promote volunteering and community benefit.
