We support funding into research for a cure for Glioblastoma. We are working closely with Brain Tumour Research and Brain Tumour Charity.We have a retreat in Grimsby for anyone with a life changing illness and their families to talk and relax.We fund individuals with a life limiting illness to achieve a goal from their bucket list.

The charity funds a PhD student in the oncology research department of Imperial College

Fundraising continued with golf day, corporate party night, christmas draw, santa claus grotto, street collections, etc. Donations made to individuals and organisations, christmas hampers to senior citizens, panto for handicapped children, local schools,British heart foundation,Macmillan cancer care, U K armed forces memorial fund,Scunthorpe church of England school,Girl guides ,Boy scouts.

To preserve and protect good health of patients who have been disgnosed with Head and Neck Cancer and their relatives. To provide a wide range of practical, social and emotional support. Reduce the impact of isolation by organising social events. Assist people to understand and adapt to changes in lifestyle. Provide mentoring and regular 'drop in' services. Use a variety of methods to fundraise.

The charity is a local choir, providing social activities for local residents, mostly retired people. We give several concerts per year, much of the income going to local and national charities (eg a local hospice, Marie Curie cancer care etc.). Concerts are also given in local care homes.Recently we have successfully started a young peoples choir which is proving very popular.

Widen access to cancer research; support local clinicians; promote collaboration between academia, industry and the NHS; use the expertise of the charity's Medical Advisory Board; improve availability and accessability of cancer information for patients and families through access to our own website which aims to provide the best prevailing inforation available. BaggyTrousersUK exists to promote and protect the physical and mental health of sufferers of Testicular Cancer through the provision of financial assistance, support, education and practical advice; and to advance the education of the general public in all areas relating to Testicular Cancer.

To provide emotional support and relief for sufferers of cancer and to help them with counselling and bereavement support.

We have held or sanctioned events to raise income (eg 18k walk to Great Ormond Street Hospital). We have provided funds for Dominic Thompson's research (Neuro Surgeon at Great Ormond Street) and paid for a terminally ill teenager's trip to New York (via The Dream Factory). We are in the process of producing a guide to help families who have a child diagnosed with Cancer and a 2nd walk is planned.

Kay's Endeavours is a support fund for cancer patients being treated at St Bartholomew's Hospital. The charity's aim is to provide funding for measures which will improve the quality of life of the patient and / or their family and to address any gaps in the support which is already available.

GRANTS TO RECOGNISED RESEARCH UNITS IN HOSPITALS AND UNIVERSITES IN THE UK STUDYING THE CAUSATION, SPREAD AND EFFECTS OF BREAST CANCER IN THE LABORATORY AND IN CLINICAL PRACTICE

We boost confidence and esteem by providing free beauty and grooming treatments to anyone undergoing treatment for cancer. We are a small caring charity that is based in South Yorkshire and we work in hospitals, homes and hospices in the surrounding area. Our mission is to continue the work of Laura Powell, our Little Warrior.

BTC preserves and protects the good health of cancer patients and their families in England and Wales. We do this by educating the public and medical profession about the emotional and wellbeing needs of cancer patients and their families; and by befriending cancer patients as well as their families during and after their medical treatment.

We offer a range of different social opportunities and activities in local venues, that allow our members to live well with and beyond their cancer diagnosis and treatment. We have monthly evening meetings, luncheon club and sewing group as well as weekly yoga class. We also celebrate every opportunity we get.

Donates cancer care

Our aim is to help and support patients with cancer who live in the Frinton on Sea area. We try to arrange transport for hospital visits including treatment for chemo/radiotherapy.

Bude Cancer Support provides peer support to anyone affected by Cancer living in or visiting the Bude area through twice monthly safe space cafes and a variety of therapies and workshops.

Enabled lecturers to attend conferences on oncology to broaden clinical knowledge, participation in and contribution to various oncology research meetings, conferences and publications.Setting up a myeloma database.

The charity will consider making grants to registered charities or other charitable organizations in the UK, especially in the areas of cancer support, community services, classical music, Chislehurst based organizations, animal welfare and education.

Person of South Asian Origin (POSAO) with a breast diagnosis and beyond.Monthly networks: guest speakers, short programmes, befriending service.Supporting patients and their families to be resilient and powerful in the community. Breast Cancer Awareness education: Young people (14-16 year old) and young adults (17-24 year old).

To improve the support available to cancer patients by provision of additional facilities, services and equipment to improve their comfort and welfare and to enable them to maintain contact with friends and family whilst undergoing treatment.

Sophies Stars is dedicated to supporting family and loved ones of people diagnosed with cancer. We have lived through a cancer diagnosis and treatment of someone else, and felt a gap in the support available to us as supporters. Our mission is to bridge this gap by providing support via peer forums, regular walks and coffee mornings and exercise classes.

The Emma Cosgrove Foundation provides relief for teenagers and young people suffering from cancer themselves or distressed by having a family member or friend with cancer by the provision of support, assistance or positive experiences to aid relief.

We help fight and eliminate poverty, hunger, abuse, nakedness, sickness and illiteracy in third world countries.We volunteer at the night shelter every winter.Weekly bible study every Friday from 7pm to 8pm.Visit the sick at home or hospital if permitted and praying for them.We donate to McMillan cancer relief every yearVisit prisoners in prison and encourage them with the word of God.
