VISION is a Christian charity working with young people in Rossendale. We run free activities for children and teenagers at our own venue, partner with local schools to deliver classes and assemblies, equip young volunteers with practical skills and opportunities to lead, and provide a professional youth counselling service.

Samaritans vision is that fewer people die by suicide. We provide a non judgmental listening ear for anyone in distress or despair. People contact us by phone, email, text and face to face at our branch. Our work is based at our office near Plymouth city centre, however we also do outreach within the local community in schools, colleges, prison, the workplace and homeless centres.

To assist people who are suicidal, despairing, in distress or in need of emotional support.To do so the branch provides a 24 hours a day telephone service and an email; and face to face service to enable people to receive immediate help and support whenever required. The branch also runs a Charity Shop and engages in other activities to enable it to meet its objectives.

To advance the Christian Faith in accordance with the statements of beliefs constituted in the Trust Deed

The principal activities of the charity are the provision of professional Counselling Services with a Christian ethos, and provision of professional and informal training in counselling and related skills.

Provides and runs community hall in deprived area, we operate a signposting and support service for members of the community facing hardships and emotional issues. We provide free counselling, mediation, support with housing, domestic abuse, workshops, training and education.

The objects of the charity are, for the public benefit to relieve sickness and mental illness in young people under the age of 21 in particular but not exclusively by a) Providing grants to support the provision of advice and professional counselling; and b) Providing grants to support research into mental illness and ways of enhancing the mental health of young people under the age of 21.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: THE RELIEF OF THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL SICKNESS OF PERSONS IN NEED IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF COUNSELLING, BEFRIENDING, PASTORAL CARE AND SUPPORT. TO RELIEVE THE MENTAL AND PHYSICAL SICKNESS OF PERSONS RESIDENT IN ENGLAND SUFFERING FROM BEREAVEMENT OR LOSS BY THE PROVISION OF COUNSELLING AND SUPPORT FOR SUCH PERSONS.

The aims of the Charity are:- advancing the Christian religion for the benefit of local inhabitants- supporting local people in matters relating to their mental, physical & social welfareIts activities include:- drop-in cafe- children's work, with links to local schools- Christian counselling

For the relief of children and young people who are suffering from conditions of poverty, deprivation, hardship and distress particularly but not exclusively through the provision of workshops, counselling, information, teaching and advice and to provide support services to their families as the trustees think fit.

The Carrs Lane Counselling Centre exists to bring about the relief of persons in need, hardship or distress caused by physical or mental ill-health or by social or economic circumstances by establishing and maintaining a voluntary confidential counselling service.

Wellbeing in Action take practical action to remove or prevent harm to wellbeing. Activities include:A. Aid distribution - providing donated goods to individuals in crisis - household, clothing, baby equipment etcB. Support services - counselling, therapy, mentoring & peer support to vulnerable people, especially women & childrenC. Social Action - mobilising communities to improve wellbeing

Established since 1993, provides multilingual counselling service to support emotional & mental health in a culturally -sensitive women-only environment; men supported from 4-8 pm. Offers: counselling internships and volunteer training opportunities; educational, cultural, and recreational facilities including performing arts to alleviate isolation amongst the elderly - Asian & BAME women.

The principal activities of the charity continue to be the provision of religious activities, church services, counselling, seminars and other community based services.

Undertaking religious ceremonies for members, such as baptisms, weddings and funerals.Receiving of pastoral care Provision of counselling and advice, religious education, and nurturing of members spiritual development.

The charity has two main aims to provide paediatric first aid awareness courses to educate parents/carers and to equip them with the skills to be able to save their child's life should they need to. The other is to provide bereavement support and counselling to parents who have lost a baby or child from the moment of conception up to any age. (Previously charitable trust 1168483)

To relieve the needs of the young people suffering from mental health in Oxted, Surrey and surrounding district by the relief of financial hardship, by the provision of financial assistance so that they can access counselling and other mental health services and the preservation and protection of good physical and mental health, such as peer support listening to such people in need.

To make available the facilities of the Church to the local community, and to advance the Christian faith through the activities of the Church. To help relieve sickness and financial hardship, and to promote and preserve good health by provision of funds, goods and services including counselling and support. To advance education through biblical teaching and instruction.
