Kindred Minds is a user led organisation created in 2012 by and for people with mental ill health to meet and offer each other support. We work with isolated and marginalised local people, bringing them together and, via mutual self help, increasing their health and well being and sense of being valued and helping them intergrate into wider society. Most of our members are excluded from mainstream society, whether by poverty, disability, age or background. Many are elderly and more than 50% have physical or mental health issues.

LeicSAR is a lowland search and rescue unit operating throughout Leicestershire and Rutland. We are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.Our primary role is to assist the Police in the search for vulnerable missing persons in urban, rural and lowland areas. This includes children, the elderly or those suffering from an illness including dementia, depression or mental health issues.
