The charity's activities are chanelled towards supporting its aim: 'To enhance the quality of life for local children and their families undergoing treatment for cancer'. We raise money, receive donations (which we gift aid). The money is spent eg. a weekend at Center Parcs for the children, siblings and parents. Families are often pauperised when a child is ill - we pay bills.

The charity records the weekly newspapers, which cover the south devon towns of Kingsbridge, Dartmouth and Ivybridge. The technicians, readers and other helpers are all volunteers. A christmas party is organised for listeners.

Acorn Chaplaincy's activities are aim to relieve persons in need and hardship by reason of addiction by the provisions of pastoral care and support ministries, such as Community Detoxification Program, running of Recovery Courses and mentoring. The trustees provided emotional support to newly diagnosed families and advise them of options available for support.

GoAbiye Limited objectives as set out in our Memorandum & Articles of Association is to relieve the needs of those suffering from sickle cell disease, their families and carers, for the public benefit by providing financial assistance and support. Our mission is to reduce the mortality and morbidity secondary to sickle cell disease in Africa and to amplify sickle cell awareness campaign globally.

Our mission is to introduce art to young people to provide an alternative form of mental health support and well-being. Through in person workshops with artists, online and digital workshops and exhibitions we offer young people the chance to get creative.Our in person events operate in the South East area but our online content can be accessed anywhere in the UK.

The charity provides singing groups for people with mental health problems. These groups are take place in Canterbury and Whitstable. There are currently approx 60 members within the groups.

The charity is currently sponsoring children at two schools in Uganda, The Kavule Parents School for the Deaf and The Bukeka Childrens Centre.In the Financial year 2006/2007 a dormitory block was built and fitted out at Kavule and the school buildings completed and the compound fenced at Bukeka.

"Bosom Buddies" is an entirely voluntary support group established to help patients and their families cope with the psychological and everyday consequences of breast cancer.
