We are a small charity run by volunteers, helping to raise awareness of colon cancer and helping the sick to remain at home, if desired. We raise our funds by manning stalls, home parties, events and donations. We currently fund home hospice services, awareness raising campaigns and information leaflets.

The aims of the foundation are to financially assist families where one parent is diagnosed with Terminal Cancer in the Northamptonshire area. To help families make memories together for them all to cherish whilst they can.

Action for Wellbeing exists to reduce the number of suicides in South Cumbria and North Lancashire and to provide support to suicide attempters and to those affected by suicide.

The specific aims of 'BIHCAH' are: providing relief for former Bosnian refugees and their dependants in Herts. Preserving and protecting their physical and mental health. Advancing their education, training, employment and integration into British society and local community. The AUTP is an independent body, whose principal aim is to promote the effective learning and teaching of psychiatry to medical undergraduates in the medical schools of the UK and Ireland through educational meetings and research. The objective of the League are to assist patients both in hospital and in community settings with benefits which would otherwise be unavailable to them. The League of Friends disperses funds to help in these objectives.The League operates in the whole of Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.

We run a weekly drop in centre to support adults of all ages who have or have had mental health problems. We provide tea, coffee, various chocolate biscuits or just a friendly face for a chat, plus games, such as cards and Scrabble, and craftwork. Organised social activities are arranged monthly.

We hold one meeting a month where we have a speaker, this may be educational (such as flower arranging) or vocational (for example working with deaf children). We also have visits to local theatre shows and places of interest. Throughout the year we meet with other WI groups in the area for social occasions.
