Newcross is a purpose built care home offering Dementia, Nursing, Residential, Respite and End of Life care. The Friends aim to improve the quality of life of the residents of the care home by working with staff, residents and relatives. Alongside this we support the care homes activities coordinators by providing extra pairs of hands during organised activity sessions and outings.

The charity raises funds at charity events which are used to relieve those suffering from cancer (in particular breast cancer), their families and also financial support to other cancer charities and support groups (in particular breast cancer) as the charity see fit from time to time.

To relieve the needs of persons affected by HIV, by the provision of a lunch service, information and advice on healthy eating and lifestyles, and a signposting service to other HIV and nutritional support services.
