The charity runs a daytime therapeutic workshop for people suffering from severe and enduring mental health problems. The workshop is situated on a barge on the Thames on West London . The barge is fitted out with woodworking equipment ant the members crate objects for their own use and appreciation.

We help people of all ages, including those with mental health issues and those recovering from substance mis-use, to benefit from experience sailing on traditional sailing craft and maintaining the craft. This is achieved using the sailing vessels "Tectona" and "Olga", operated by our subsidiary not for profit company Sailing Tectona CIC.

The EGA Hospital Charity supports both patients and staff at the hospital. We award a Travel Fellowship yearly for doctors travelling abroad to further their training. We help with improvement of hospital facilities, fund research projects and buy vital equipment such as for fetal surgery or postnatal care, and much more. The EGA Charity PhD Scholarship, funding PhD fees, started in 2022.

Chorley Women's Centre promotes the mental health and wellbeing of women in Chorley and surrounding areas. We provide a listening ear to drop in users, courses, information, self help groups, free counselling, and relaxation sessions.We are run by volunteers and open 2 days a week, and 1 day for DV CounsellingDrop in users may go on to become volunteers and then on to the management committee.

Reverse The Trend Foundation works with children, young people, families and communities across the UK to improve physical, emotional and nutritional health. There is a particular focus on childhood obesity and mental health.

CARA defends the legal rights of poor people who cannot afford a lawyer and helps them to save their homes, keep their jobs and protect their loved ones by providing advice and information on immigration, debt, welfare benefits, housing and employment, HIV/AIDS prevention, care and support; quality basic education for all (especially girls), water and sanitation. The principle activity is the management of accommodation and the delivery of support services to clients housed in that accommodation thereby preventing rough sleeping and alleviating homelessness.
