Health Charities That specialise in Health services

NEPAL-ease is a small charity that works directly with communities in Nepal, supporting sustainable projects identified by them. These include health, wellbeing, women's enterprise and education. We also work closely with palliative care providers improving people's access to good end of life care.

The purposes of the charity are:A Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) set up to raise awareness of the improvements needed in perinatal services, to reduce the incidences of poor maternal mental health. To promote the health and wellbeing of mothers and babies during the perinatal period, which in turn will benefit the fathers/partners, siblings, and family as a whole.

The principal activity of the Bridge Pastoral Foundation is the provision of training in pastoral care and counselling through seminars, weekend courses and conferences held in various parts of the UK. A second charitable object has been added, and the constitution amended accordingly, which is the relief of suffering for those in emotional distress.

Eden's Trust provides free 10 week guided therapy programs (Begin to Heal), and monthly drop in groups (The Healing Place), for those who have lost a child. The groups are led by our highly skilled counsellors and aim to support bereaved parents through their loss, providing participants with the information and skills they need to begin to recover and continue with life, albeit differently.

To enable those in the Hillingdon area and elsewhere who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those who may be at risk of suicide, to receive confidential emotional support at any time to improve their emotional health and to reduce the incidence of suicide. To increase understanding of suicide and suicidal behaviour and to support Samaritans central charity.

The Choir gives concerts both charitable and non-charitable for the benefit of local communities and also for communities further afield; this year we have given concerts for various charities including Yorkshire air ambulance,Prince of Wales Hospice(Pontefract), Knottingley company shop. We have also raised money by concerts and other means for the Alzheimer's Society.In 2024 Prostate Cancer.

Our activities include; Career counselling, Educational counselling, Pre-marital counselling, Prayer support, Women's meetings/events, Men's meetings/events, Teenagers meetings/events, Singles meetings/events, Marital meetings/events, Sunday and mid-week services, Sunday school

The promotion of oral health and the provision of basic dental services for the people of Ghana, free at the point of delivery. This would include preventive care, restorative care, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics

Family Tree Wirral provides training, information, support groups, counselling, advocacy, newsletter, library and social events for family members of those experiencing mental ill-health. In addition, members of the charity bring the needs and views of carers to local decision making bodies and the charity seeks to work collaboratively with other agencies, both statutory and voluntary.

IRiD's objectives revolve around the relief of poverty and improvement of life among socially and economically disadvantaged people, promotion of health and wellbeing, and the promotion of the teaching of STEM subjects

The charity opens the door of opportunity for children and young people throughout the UK by funding training, coaching, tutoring, counselling in sport, the arts, personal development and education, and meeting the cost of equipment, competition fees and kit.

TO ENABLE PERSONS IN MAIDSTONE AND THE WEALD OF KENT AND THE SURROUNDING AREA AS WELL AS ELSEWHERE WHO ARE EXPERIENCING FEELINGS OF DISTRESS OR DESPAIR, INCLUDING THOSE WHO MAY BE AT RISK OF SUICIDE, TO RECEIVE CONFIDENTIAL EMOTIONAL SUPPORT AT ANY TIME OF THE DAY OR NIGHT IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THEIR EMOTIONAL HEALTH AND TO REDUCE THE INCIDENCE OF SUICIDE; TO PROMOTE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING.

The association aims to: promote public awareness in the nursing care of children and young people, promote optimum standards of nursing care to children and young people at home and in hospital, recognise the needs of parents/carers and offer appropriate guidance, support and comfort and promote nurse education/research in the specialist area of children and young people.

We are closing down the Church aspect and will focus solely on our community/charitable work. To relieve hardship and to promote and preserve good health by the provision of goods or services of any kind, including through the provision of counselling and support in England or any part of the world as the trustees from time to time may think fit.

Community car scheme, offering transport from a persons home, if they are unable to use any public transport, to doctors surgeries, other appointments, shopping etc.

Income is mainly raised from an annual Spring Fair and a Christmas Appeal. Money is spent to help the sick and infirmed in the area. We also purchase medical equipment for local doctors' surgeries and make grants to charities providing healthcare locally - Hospital at Home, Air Ambulances, Cancer Care Services, Sue Ryder Hospice, Oundle First Responders, Northants Blind Association etc.

The charity will provide mental health support through counselling low-income families, children in need and children in care within the community. We will also provide educational support to statutory-age children and young people (Post 16). Providing vocational support as well as job skills opportunities. We aim to do this through the support of the local communities, counsellors and tutors.

The charity runs two ambulances which are used for in transporting patients to and from hospices, hospitals, etc. The charity also runs day care projects for the chronically ill.

Burntwood and District Community First Responders is a voluntary organisation that responds to 999 calls on behalf of West Midlands Ambulance Service. We currently respond in two vehicles, one covering the Burntwood area and the other Cannock Chase. We are a team of 9 operational responders who also assist with fundraising for the group and 5 fundraisers.

SWAMI'S TEACHINGS ARE EXPOUNDED DURING HIS UK VISIT AND VIA ONLINE CONFERENCES. SERVICES IN LONDON FOR HEALTH IMPROVEMENT.THE CHARITY RAISED MONEY TO FUND PROJECTS - THE HOMEOPATHIC OUTPATIENT CLINIC, PENSION FUND, MAINTENANCE OF ASHRAMS, EDUCATIONAL TRAINING - TO HELP ALLEVIATE POVERTY AND SUFFERING.
