Sanity comprises of Mental health nurses and volunteers providing support and advice to anyone who has mental health needs. We assist families and carers with practical advice on how to access local mental health services. We provide a helpline for people who are feeling suicidal or having thoughts of harming themselves.We offer advice and advocacy and assistance in making informed decisions.

Responding on a 24 hour basis at the request of the North West Ambulance Service to specific 999 calls relating to medical emergencies within the Grasmere locality, especially those concerned with suspected cardiac arrest, providing immediate life support in the immediate interval before ambulance services personnel arrive to attend such incidents.

To relieve sickness, by the provision of a day care centre, counselling advice and information and such other services calculated to relieve sickness as the charity shall from time to time determine.

Due to the covid pandemic, we had to stop doing our public events. We continued to provide open access online evidence-based information on the health and wellbeing during pregnancy, through our charity website: www.ifwip.org

Poems in the Waiting Room is an arts in health and wellbeing charity, providing online poetry for patients to read while waiting to see their NHS doctor. There is no charge to patient or to the NHS. Poems are selected and professionally evaluated for suitability for reading in a healthcare context.

Horse Fair Care Home also provides specialist care for young people with physical disabilities. The Friends aim to improve the quality of life of the residents of the care home by working with staff, residents and relatives.

Bridgnorth District Community First Responders operates in the area of Bridgnorth and its surrounding environs, to work in partnership with West Midlands Ambulance Service University NHS Foundation Trust by responding to emergency calls for medical assistance. The volunteer first responders aim to provide emergency life sustaining treatment in the area, prior to the arrival of an Ambulance.

Our charity provides help to Dementia sufferers which is not available through the usual channels.We raise funds to improve the environments in Nursing homes by arranging events and providing dementia friendly equipment to enable residents to take part in a variety of activities.It is vital for residents to receive adequate stimulation and remain engaged with those around them as long as possible.

The church is a religious organisation that offers services to God Almighty in line with the beliefs of Holy Spirit.
